I don't feel like this is really a blatant advertisement - the reason they chose to do this with razer is because their logo is something that, out-of-context (meaning, if you don't know that it's razer's logo), actually looks cool and like it'd fit in the game. If I can make a comparison, look at Team Fortress 2. It's a FPS that has promotions similar to this, where stuff from other games appears in TF2 as usable items. The Demoman in that game has a shield, and if TF2 were to partner with PoE and give the Demoman a shield that looks like the mirror of kalandra or something, I wouldn't be like "ugh why do I have to look at this advertisement", I'd be like "man what an awesome looking shield".

My only problem is how easy these footprints are to get. I easily got them in a minute by making a quick, free account I will never use. I haven't owned any razer products.

If I saw these footprints in town worn by actual razer-owners, it'd be like "neat footprints, and that person supports someone supporting GGG, cool", and I also wouldn't see them all over the place. However, with how easy they are to get right now, not only are people wearing them who don't really deserve them, but they're everywhere! Microtransactions are flashy because not everyone has them, these really need to be limited somehow.

With all due respect, I think this is bull. Razer wouldn't be paying money to have their logo in the game if they thought no one would know it was a logo. They wanted their brand to be visually featured in Wraeclast, and that's what they got.

That wasn't my point - I mean that GGG would not have partnered with razer if their logo was something that looked like a logo to someone who didn't know about the company. GGG and Razer both know many, many people will recognize it as such, but that fact was intended to help it seem less out-of-place in wraeclast.

Plenty of other footprints that are available.

Though i -will- add that im not against GGG getting some partnerships/sponsors on board, so they can get more $, which will hopefully lead to faster/more content delivery and more/improved servers.

Maybe a small add or 2 on the main long-in screen? I would'nt mind that.

I have questions for GGG:

- Razor + GGG = voice, communication integrated into the game soon ? (as twitch.tv)
- Could we have the opportunity to cummuler, in one case, the Razer Footprints ?
