Razer Footprints Promotion
" The footprints aren't the point, the point is the DEAL they made with this other company, the DEAL is good. If you don't want to see the green footprints - don't use them. If it bothers everyone that much to see them GGG can put in an option to turn them off. Your 50 bucks went to supporting the game, did you think your 50 bucks was all they needed? " I have seen plenty of 40 page shit storms over all sorts of decisions GGG has decided to make, and there will be many others to come. GGG does what they do because its best for the company long-term. Give it two weeks, nobody will remember this, and they'll be screaming about whatever new unique everyone thinks is required. Also there aren't "adds" in the game, so lets not inflate this out of proportion, if GGG just had released this as a new footprint model and not told us what is was for, I doubt anyone would have even noticed. Instead, GGG was honest with us, and in gratitude we all start screaming like children. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."

So at first I was not interested in the footprints, but after all this shitstorm I got them to see whats upon the crying. Tell you the truth: I LIKE THEM ! Nothing that would be against the atmosphere in PoE, no aggressive marketing I could bother about.
Just my personal taste, I would tone down the green a little bit. All my pets look little bit pale when combined with the footprints. If GGG can get advantages from this kind of advertising GO AHEAD GGG, DO IT! I am fully on your side. Last edited by Moonlight33#6927 on Aug 31, 2013, 11:41:25 AM

ya Wittgenstein is one of the most relentless critics of this game, when he sees an area that obviously needs criticised. People live in a capitalist society playing a F2P game and are messing their nappies over GGG 'selling out' by adding in some optional free footprints?
What movies have you watched this year? What records have you bought in your lifetime? When was the last time you ate food from a retail chain? Grow up, youre every bit the capitalist whore the rest of us are, its got nothing to do with idealism and everything to do with the reality of the world weve been born into. Look at yourself, I really hope those are bartered for, all natural, ethically sourced, hand made within 10 miles of your home by skilled, overpaid workers, 100% recyclable clothes you are wearing, you massive sellout. |

I downloaded and installed Razer Comms but after it rebooted to windows, every time i hit a key on the keyboard my computer would blue screen... wtf??? So i uninstalled Razer Comms and my computer was back to normal... Could someone look into why this could be happening? I would like these Razer footprints most of all. Trying out Razer Comms would be cool too :p

don't think the footprint effect is too good myself. but razer os cool, one of the last manufacturer of mice for left handed people.
you know what would have been awesome? an animated 3D version of the logo. instead of the spinning original razer logo, make 3 crawling snakes peak out of the ground under each step. kind of something that would fit an evil twisted Druid. this would remind people of the razor collaboration, look actually cool so people would want to have it and it would fit in the game much better |

I don't like those footprint, they do not fit with the aesthetic of the game. For the rest, i don't have anything bad to say about that partnership. If that can help GGG that's perfect. And about your reaction guys, if that's the kind of shit you have in your mind, the kind of disrespectful behavior you have when something do not goes as you like, i feel sorry for you and the reality you choose to live in.

I never said the deal with razer is bad, i just said that the way they announced it is very bad, but glad u like it, maybe u gonna see that in a few years.
sorry for repeat myself: Please read my posts twice before you answer, you are probably not smart enough to get the meaning of it but hey its still free2play.

Maybe! Maybe not. As far i know GGG gave us many times the proof that they have a personal view and philosophy. Yes they could disappoint us as many other video games companies already did but in this case, that's a bit too soon to scream at the plot exactly because they showed us and gave us many positive things.
So yes, i agree, this could happen but i prefer to wait and have obvious reasons to change my mind about this great game and that company. Nice job on your screens btw, funny :) Edit: yes, i can see the reason why you criticize the way they announced it. But if you read, really read i mean, you can easily understand that this is not the same kind of product they released until now. They could have made it a different way just to be sure that everyone understand what's behind that product. Still, not a reason to make such noise. Just give them the right to make little mistakes here and there. Last edited by Tenderbeurd#3986 on Aug 31, 2013, 1:42:19 PM
