And yes, if PizzaHut wants to partner with GGG they'd be morons not to take the deal, and if you can't understand that fact then you have 0 grasp on how the real world actually works.

This post is why this game is screwed. Fanboys of this caliber sink their teeth in and slowly destroy every indie F2P that has been released. Its such a shame.

By the way. Chris already said that he has turned down many other deals. I find it odd that your such a fanboy, but also think GGG are morons.

I don't care about this, but to me seems like the game is failing to generate enough income and retain it's playerbase, and set up's a bad precedent I haven't seen even in other F2P games. Also not too disturbing considering the decision making and the way the game is being designed last times, making cosmetic (heh) changes while leaving core design issues and low quality releases unchanged (at least the optimization in last patch was a sign for hope).

GGG may be doing the game they want, but the game they want may fail them, and not be sustainable for a long time (facts that periodical content releases are not going to change). At this point in time only a good grade of 'modding' ability of the game may extend it's life span, via 'custom leagues' or whatever, cause stubbornness in certain things is not a good trait for a game designer, neither is poor prioritization of tasks. I just hope the technology and infrastructure to support that (custom leagues) will be correctly done and not half-assed like many other things.

i think those guys have a really tight schedule with upcoming release next month and the razor deal gave them a really good buffer

i dont care if there are ingame adds i have to view for a fraction of time when i vendor some items

there is no 20sec razor video before a piety fight starts or every npc in town drinking a coke
if those funds keep the game alive and improve it it is a good investment

and sadly yes some of you have forgotten how the real world works.....

i'd like to know how many quit the game because of this razor BS ...

Quake Live had in game advertising, that came from iD software, possibly one of the most credible small Dev teams in gaming history, and that was proper in game adverts not just some vague green footprint a few people have. I wouldn't confuse GGG having the sense to take a good opportunity when it came their way with anything negative about the success of this games open beta, I think this game has had a much more successful open beta then they could have hoped for.



Exorzist you hate this game and spend your whole time in these forums trying to harm it as much as possible, and you are still here. I would love to see you quit and never come back, but sadly they havent even shifted you yet. If it was my game Id just ban you already, people like you who hang around just to be negative and spiteful obviously have some serious personal issues you be better off dealing with rather than being here trying to ruin everyone elses day because you are overcome with a spite and negativity you have become addicted to venting. Theres a difference between giving feedback on a game and having a disorder, sort your life out.
