The problem is that I wasted like 10 exalts + to try to 6L my weapon and it's still not 6L.. Qarl, please fix this. Do I need to donate more money for packs for a "fix" *cough*...

Read my post above yours..

But I waaaannnnttt ittt!!!... I must have it, it's what I enjoy.
I'll put my own preferences in brief:

Low drop rates affect the current endgame:
*I reached maps and played through several consecutively. It was fun but they ran out. Hours of grinding docks and lunaris later I gave up trying and haven't much touched the character since.

Trading is not fun for me:
*I don't have much free time for PoE and trading is not fun at all for me. At all. It's a chore. I payed an exalt fro two Doedre's damnings simply so I didn't have to waste time searching.

My drops are affected by trade even if I never trade:
*The fact that trade exists implies even a self-found player has their drops impacted by the presence of an economy. This is detrimental to that playstyle option.

My friends don't play much PoE:
*I don't have the opportunity to party much and public parties are usually another stressful chore since it forces me out of my preferred, more laid-back playstyle.

My drops are affected by party play even if I never play in a party:
*The fact that party play exists implies even a self-found player has their drops impacted by the presence of this capacity. This is detrimental to that playstyle option.

Multiplayer breaks my immersion:
*I like PoE's atmosphere and tone as much as the actual slaughtering of monsters but trading and partying (publically at least) does absolutely nothing to help that. Town instances aren't so bad to me, where you can just ignore players without gameplay repercussions.

Those seem reason enough in my eyes to introduce something to accomodate for the prevalence of solitary play if my reasons are common among the playerbase.

I see, you have an issue with the drop rate/value. I guess what you or others don't like is the trading aspect of a game and want a league where the drop rate is substantially better and where there might not be a need for trading...

Meh, it's something, but rather uninteresting. Saving up and trading is a part of the game I enjoy. And finally finding that item that yields multiple exalts in trade is awesome also.

Finding that great drop for yourself once in a blue moon is cool also. To me that is ARPG.

There is no reason both playstyles can't be catered to. creating a solo league does not mean destroying standard/ hc. It simply means more choice of how to play.
My wish is for them to eventually put out a stand alone game that doesn't even require that I be online. This is too good of a game to spoil with forced multiplayer.

no offence here dude...but will it make you powerful? or shall i say invincible? guess not..i'm saying that you can still do 70+ maps easy with that weap being a 5l..am i right?

You understand.
And I agree...sort of. Theoretically.
In practice, PoE is unrewarding compared to say...Titan Quest (IT)
Hours and hours and hours of vender trash badly itemized garbage and 0.000001% of the time you get something tradeable/useable isn't inherently what the genre is about.

What happened to farming certain types of mobs or a certain boss for a particular drop?
All you can do in PoE is wade through endless oceans of vender trash, save uyp the currency you get along the way, and BUY good gear, cuz it sure as shit never drops.

It's kinda destroying...a bit. To be honest, I don't agree with Anarchy or Onslaught. We don't have a community of 5 million people like WoW has. If you create too many leagues, you segregate the small community too much.

It's too small here for that. If I was GGG, I'd keep it Standard and HC and call it a day. Oh, I'd run those races and what not, but that's about it.
I'm going to say this again, for the sake of people who want a good SF experience (I'm included in this).

I think you'll have a better chance of it if you can suggest a novel league to justify the existence and differentiating it from the main leagues, ideally as a compliment. If it's going to detract from the main leagues, which the standard SFL suggestion does, your chances are vanishingly small.

You shouldn't necessarily expect it though and certainly not very soon. Other than that, there will be paid leagues.
gear progression is not a problem for anyone, the problem is real money trading and I have to say it botters and streamers who get all this shit for free and then buy or link their already bought gear to 6 link

It makes ladder competition shitty for the rest of us who don't buy gear/currency/maps/ shit to roll maps/20% gems to start. Get all this stuff for free.

Big reason why a lot of people want more fair play competition. Self found is the only fair way.

It's why I like solo races the best. Fair play competition rules all.

you do get the irony of what you are arguing right?

A bunch of people who play solo and don't interact with other players are asking for a league where they can play solo and not interact with other players.... you aren't "losing community" because people like me already don't interact with anyone else.
