Consolidated Feedback After A Year Of Playing

Yeah, this was a really good post.

Shame about the game's mechanics really, the devs basically set out to make a D2 service pack, and by and large, they were 100% successful. They barely even changed the UI.

What I've realized, and what I'm hoping Lineage Eternal may change somewhat, is the backwards looking development that ARPG designers are prone to. D3, Marvel Heroes, PoE, these people are all looking to a decade ago for game systems inspiration. They are looking to a game restricted by weak computational power and infant game development tech to design gaming systems that are not so restricted and should not be designed with the same mentality as D2.

I'll wait a bit longer, maybe there is a dev team working on a game right now, looking at 2010-2013 technology, and developing looking forward, to new ways of designing game systems, driven by intelligent content and skilled play, and not spreadsheets and hours spent farming.

There are people out there who farmed the item multiple times, MULTIPLE times, so apparently it is possible but requires dedication and discipline.

Asking for better accessibility automatically rewards them for the lack of dedication, whether thats your intention or not. Its a fact.

There is no way in hell I believe someone "farmed" multiple Shavs..no way. If they legit got it to drop..wow gratz.. otherwise I call BS and leave it at that.

I farmed it once in Hardcore and once in Onslaught and I have no idea how to make money properly. I cant value rares for shit and probably sell them for way less than they are worth constantly.

Irbird for example was the first high level Onslaught MFer. He was able to pay 17 Exalteds for the first Aegis Aurora that dropped in Onslaught, and that in week 2 if I remember correctly. Now imagine how his wealth would have skyrocketed by now if he would have kept playing the same character. Having 300+ Exalted in wealth in your stash is realistic. You dont have the Exalted Orbs lying around but a lot of items you can sell immediately.

If believe that a Shavronnes is hard to farm for while you can sell Act rushes that take you 30 minutes for 20-30 chaos (4 Chaos per player in Act 2 and 3 Merc, in the beginning of the league even 6) you have no idea what youre doing. Shavronnes used to be between 25-30 Exalted for ages on Onslaught. Thats basically nothing when you farm End Game content. I 6linked mine, bought an insane shield and a perfect Void Battery in a week (had a Lioneyes drop that sold for 4ex), thats more than 30 Exalted. Now imagine you know how to actually value rares, are a streamer who can sell his items quickly and maybe even know who to screw the best. The Chaos Orbs make your stash explodes. On one day I made 250 Chaos just from selling Okayish items on Trade and rushing people. And as I said, I suck at trading.

You could have bought 20 Shavronnes by now afterall it has been 7 months. Probably even more if you had an MFer in your group since Open Beta started.
