Don't Remove MF from the Game; Just Cut it in Half

But it isn't they could just play normally and eventually (although probably slower) get there like everyone else, or they could get lucky and never need too.

What about people who play in parties vs those that don't or can't. They also get there at different times.

People expect entitlement and fairness in places it doesn't belong.
You know it takes to farm? It takes BRASS BALLS to farm items and currency. Go and do likewise gents. Currency is out there. You pick it up, it's yours. You don't, I got no sympathy for you.

MF isn't the only way to make currency, you guys who don't want to make one could flip items, i did that and made 20 ex in one day.. But nooo, people don't want to put effort into anything.

Edit: I like the OP's point about some people liking farming rather than high level high speed clearing, I am one of them.. Why should my experience be taken away :(?

"Item flipping" is a respectable term for "scamming".

Also, OP isn't jealous of people stacking mf.

Item Flipping is not scamming, it's getting to know the prices more than the person selling/buying.. Fuck if they can't be bothered to research what it's worth then why shouldn't I make a pretty penny? Behave lol, retarded statement.
How exactly do you research what an in game item is worth? Values can fluctuate all the time, and whenever I ask for a PC in global chat I never get a reply. When I'm trying to buy stuff in trade chat, sellers keep saying 'offer', so I make offers in nothing more than chaos orbs not knowing that the item is worth a few exalts or more.

If you know how much an item is worth, or how much you want for it, then state a price when selling it.

Frankly, researching what an item is worth is too easy; I lol'd at Peenk acting like knowing market values was some kind of achievement to be proud of.

+1 Hate how MF works atm
Item flipping is not scamming, it's the same principle ever used store in the world operates off of, pawn shops, car dealerships, used game stores. Someone buys something from you for less than it's worth, and then sells it for full prince. You benefit because you don't have to track down the one dude who actually wants it. Dealer profits from markup, but at the same time has to invest currency, and takes a risk because the item may never sell.
If the quantity a solo player has access to is reduced how is that making MF fairer compared to party play where the buff is built in.
With the advent of guilds, party grinding will become the norm and thus the prices of items will increase to match the increased orbs entering the economy which then makes them reduce the drop rate to cap inflation.
Removing quantity from maps in particular will have the complete opposite effect that GGG claim they are trying for i.e a fairer playing field for solo and party.

GGG seem hell bent on making this ARPG an MMO in all but name.

The grind to progress your character ATM playing solo is so far out of step with MF stacking party play that even if you buffed rarity for solo play by 1000% it still wouldnt be worth doing over partying.

This ^^

I play mostly solo, I have tons of friends on my friend list I could party with I just like solo I guess. However the bonus from parties vs alone isn't even comparable. The bonues on maps is almost an after thought.

MF gear bonuses stack multiplicatively with MF from parties, not additively.

The difference between a party player and a solo player will remain the same without IIQ gear affixes.

it's more interesting to grind solo rather than in party, imho.
Well, 50 % more IIQ per player means that in average you have less drop.

I run solo IIQ/IIR 135/320 and am very happy with RNG :)
