Ice Shot
" You're better off using a different more multiplier like Phys projectile/weapon elemental damage than conc. effect PM me here is best way to contact me.

What does duration refer to? Chill duration behind the cone? And what happens if I convert some of my cold or phys damage into lightning or fire? Also increases shock and burning duration?
Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Skill Duration does not apply to status ailments.
It affects the patch of Ground Ice left behind under the initial target. |

Most of archer now use tornado shot.
I think Ice Shot have less effectivenss than tornado shot. Buff base dam, or aoe, or quality effect. |

Hi Mark, I was wondering if we could get some more information on how big the aoe actually is from the cone?

"Ice Shot: Damage code 22, ground ice 8 from: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/11707/page/226#p5041495 don't remember updates changing radi but would be lovely to have a new list. unless another similar post was made within last 6 months and gotten buried. |

Ah wow 22 is pretty decent
|

its a cone shape however, so needs to be aimed. the ground ice doesn't seem to be a cone but thats likely due to its tiny size.

I tryed ice shot probably with almost any combination of +2 gems even +3 and...it does not payoff.
I ve tryed with added ice damage and the ice resistance lowering gem and it too costly compaed to the results of other arrows. It need to be adjusted in 3 ways: More concentrated (lesser cone) effect with more freezinf/chilling effect so you can mob control. Or more damage so its a pre killer Or less mana use. The actual combination by stat only seem good, but it yeald no results, the combination to make this skill nearly usable make it become too costly. |

LMP + 100% Pierce. If three dudes are lined up in front of a Rare, pretty much a guaranteed kill.
GMP + Chain also works fine. Slightly slower but safer version of GMP + Chain Lightning Arrow. Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Jun 23, 2015, 6:17:31 AM
