[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update

When I open up the wrapper and PoE loads, I'm greeted by a login screen w/o any animations in the background. The same is true of character creation and selection - I don't get any of the actual graphics content, just the menus.

I'm able to get past character creation, but when I actually click to play the game, I get the D3ERR_INVALIDCALL error.
I've tried lowering the graphics settings in the config.ini file, and I've also tried the workaround in the troubleshooting bit. Neither of them help.

What do?

Info on my computer:
Macbook Pro running 10.6.8
i5 with 2.3 GHz
4 GB RAM (1333)
More than enough HDD space.

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!
I've downloaded v3.6 and the patching and installing seem to run smoothly, but when I try starting the game it keeps giving me a message on the loading screen that says "Shaders/Renderer/Grass.ffx: Unexpected end of file reading FRAGMENT block." Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix this?
i hate to be a noob but fairly new to mac..

How do i access my ini file?
I was really hoping this game would save me from the clutches of Diablo III...

But somehow, I just knew it wasn't meant to be. ...Guess I should just wait when/big-freaking-if they release an official Mac port.

For me, the easiest thing to do would be to open a new finder window and just search config.ini - you'll recognize it.
Rightclick, go to open with, select "other" and locate textedit. Open it with textedit, and you're good!

You can just save it and close/quit when you're done editing.
to fix the the cursor's location, change the resolution to

resolution_height=750
resolution_width=1024

this fixed mine, i think this will work for you as well.
thank you so much it fixed it!
If you have 10.6.8 and Radeon card, you are on your own. 10.6.8 has extremely bad drivers for radeon. Upgrade is highly recommended. I am not going to try to fix game for radeons on 10.6.8 because it is a fighting windmills.

Unexpected end of file, or corruptions. You need to redownload game again, just delete content.ggpk from the wrapper (wrapper/drive_c/program files/grinding gear games/path of exile/content.gppk) and redownload the game.
I'm assuming you're addressing me. I don't have a radeon card, its an Intel HD 3000 with more than 256 RAM.

I just want to say, from the feedback I'm hearing in this thread, you're doing a great job. Thanks for helping us out.
