Hey,
I'm having some bizarre issue. I've completely downloaded the game and it has completed allocating resources, but when I launch the .app, it shows up for like two seconds, and then just disappears.... Am I doing something wrong? |

Yet another issue has raised for me. When attempting a launch, i get the error message:
"WeaponTypes_Row: The format of a game file is cannot be read, is it out of date?" ...What gives? |

Running on OS X 10.6.8, wrapper v. 3.6, 4 GB RAM, 1GB Radeon
Game runs well, totally playable etc. That said, entering the Fetid Pools map the screen is entirely black barring the UI. The map and enemies load and can be fought etc but I can't see anything. I know there were some others with this problem but I couldn't find a fix anywhere. Any updates on this? Thanks. |

" MAC OSX 10.8.2 I have the same issue. v3.6 Worked for me a few times... Now when I open the client , it has become a very small box in upper left hand corner... When I try to drag the bottom right corner to make the box (resolution) bigger , it does not not scale properly... The 3.6 port use to work fine and I have changed nothing on my end.... My production_config.ini . Any help would be greatly appreciated ! " Update: I tried v3.1 and it seems to be working fine like v3.6 USE to. Although PoE is a Memory hog :) Consuming a lot of my 12 gigs of memory. Update: " Well v3.1 is doing the SAME THING. It appears both ports only work the first time you open client... And then you stuck with a small windowed client that won't scale properly... Cool game but I am done with PoE... I gave it a shot but there are some MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR issues... First being the mouse targeting being off by a few inches for starters (which can be corrected but must be redone EVERY TIME)... Then you stuck with a small windowed client that won't scale properly upon reopening the client after 1st time time logging in.... Not mention all the disconnects ... I have a 27 inch iMac and playing on such a small windowed is a game breaker for me especially considering the other issues mentioned above... If I try to make resolution bigger then the mouse targeting is WAY OFF target (by inches) ... The bigger I make the game, the more mouse becomes off target (scaling)... I don't even want to list the minor issues... All in all cool game but in the state it is just un playable... Even if the game was in a "better state", I don't think it would replace D3. I just got the game after hearing all about it and was happy to see there was something for mac but i am having the same problem as everyone else. I got a tiny screen that won't expand. Although I admit since i downloaded it right when it went to open beta i expected some problems. As such I am going to keep at it because this does look like a fun game. Please anyone post if they've found a solution or if the problem has been patched.

If you have a tiny box problem, you need to open your ini file and change:
resolution_height= resolution_width= to your native resolution. Mine is 1280x800, so I put in resolution_height= 800 resolution_width= 1280 Save your .ini and restart the game. Should work out fine. Check earlier threads if you need location of said .ini file. Last edited by zxy#5830 on Jan 24, 2013, 6:00:02 PM
