@Charan: You said you knew the initial recipe for the unique. Can you tell us what it was? Just for the lolz?

Spoiler
No.

I had it typed out, but then realised the actual recipe might not be much different. But the original recipe was for a different build, one that had two very unusual, very specific stats.

I swear if we have to use albino rhoa feathers. Can't wait for 11.4, I'm going to try and figure out this recipie if it kills me. Just one question, is there a way to turn the goddess back to being bound? Or is it a one way trip?

Hey charan, how would RF work with your unique sword?
Would it deal damage?
How about burn duration?

I know that Searing Bond still works (for now), but was under the impression that no spells will. And Righteous Fire is most definitely a spell.
RF works, for the same reason as searing bond - damage modifiers don't can currently can't apply to degen.
That'll definitely be changed eventually, there's a bunch of stuff that depends on it changing. But the change needs to be carefully considered and planned before it's implemented.

There's a certain magic to how The Goddess Bound interacts with the Shadow's starting area. The required amount of dexterity you need to wield a Whalebone rapier as a Shadow is just reached when you get the Haste notable, which is exactly 6 nodes away from the melee start. This notable also gives you 12% increased attack speed.

So if you do have a Goddess Bound to twink as a Shadow, you are guaranteed being able to use it the moment you reach the level requirement *and* it will be significantly faster.

Wow, my earlier post went awry.

I re-rolled to a Shadow (Sanbo_Kojin), hit level 7, equipped the Goddess with Double Strike and Cleave and entered the Ledge. HOLY SHITBALLS! One hit Cleaving entire mobs and 2 Double Strikes for Kuduku at level 7. Within 5-6 minutes I was level 11 and equipped my 9IAS gloves. This is seriously OP.

I have found the perfect companion for my black cat.

This is gonna be fun!

Edit: forgot the reason it is so remarkable, the speed! Ran to Brutus, he sucked me in and after that I am not sure he got a shot off. < 2 seconds.
Thread killer.

Ok, I were not interested in the sword before. After reading this thread, I'm going to jump in the bandwagon.

Burn'em all!

so will you fix the degen-scale thing in 11.4? and if you fixed this, poison arrow would be able to link to totem(and viper strike-splash)
Well well well, quite an interesting unique we have here.

Very intriguing!

Your first sword + your second sword = your third sword?

You seem to have a thing for fire, Charan (`Charan' is an Indian social caste known for self-immolation), and your swords all have a `theme' of fire. Are you by any chance a pyromaniac in real life?

Woke up to this thread this morning and decided to go for a Goddess build, what the hell. Up to level 24 atm using a Marauder (Why? Because I haven't played one yet) with Infernal Blow and Cleave. Around level 20, a Goddess Bound came up for sale in trade chat so I picked it up (was using Limbsplit). With some low level IAS gloves it is a killer; I am having an absolute BLAST! It wasn't a sword I had any idea of using prior, but I am certainly enjoying it. Thanks Charan!

I'm so happy for you! :)

But I must confess, I think she is made for Shadows.

Here's why.

To be fair if you can get a goddess bound into one of your starting characters, you can also get a plain jade amulet which is also level 7.
