Guide: The Unrighteous Summoner
" I have found this method to be the most reliable way to get the BMs to turn on UF. Not completely reliable to be sure, but more so than the other tips/methods. |

I know I'm late to the discussion, but works with your minions with necro aegis.
That means your minions get 6% hp regen (all 27 of them). Zombies heal at about 1k/s @ ~20. You still need vitality to get them from 35% to 100%, but it stops them from dying. Obviously doesn't work with Minion Instability. But I use it with BM and they rarely die except for most dire of situations. I liked the analysis of the BM damage. Good process. |

" I am running into this as well. Really Really Annoying! The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

So whats a good 6th gem for these bad boys with a 6 linked?
|
|
" If you insist on 6 linking them the ONLY thing that can further boost their damage is an Empower Gem. It will lower the Spectre Life Penalty by 2%, giving a slight boost in damage. |

This has gotten me to thinking about boosting their damage.
Has anyone tried Necromantic Aegis with a Lioneye's Remorse? That seems like it would add a substantial amount of HP after bonuses, thus increasing damage. Is it such a significant amount to make it worthwhile though? Idea situation would be an extra 224.48 HP (100 HP Lioneye * 144% Passives + Minion gem * .92% Spectre Gem boosted with Empower). by far the best shield to aegis to your minions is
they can facetank merciless piety ice arrows, i have the vod posted in my guide also on the BMs won't turn on their damage topic; drag them out of combat, then in, then out again, eventually they will turn it on, also shown at the start of the vod @Sampudrinker Stream: www.twitch.tv/sampudrinker Last edited by tehosiris#3518 on Nov 9, 2013, 1:30:52 PM

" Hi there, what about fire penetration ? Doesn't that help, too ? Sorry if this is a dumb question... |

With the upcoming patch the increased burning damage passives will apply to DOTs, so maybe looking in to it again is in order.

After patch 1.0.2 there were some changes to the DOT system.
-Previously, modifiers to damage dealt applied only to damage on hits unless they specifically said otherwise (for example, Increased Burning Damage). -Generic modifiers to damage dealt will now apply to damage over time that your character causes. Damage over time is not spell damage, nor attack damage, so modifiers specific to those types will not apply. Non-specific "increased damage" modifiers will apply to damage over time. Type-specific modifiers will apply as well. For example, "increased fire damage" modifiers will apply to fire damage over time. That means minion damage works with burned miscreations now right? Will this guide be updated for the new patch? BTW - thanks for all of the great information you have provided. It really helped. |
