Tyr's **0.11.1** Pure Elemental Bow Spec

The never miss/never crit keystone is NOT for this build. This build has substantial increased crit chance. You want to exploit that.

For a build without crit chance nodes (ie, not a shadow) and relatively low dex, it's good.

Obviously if you went the No Crit No hit Keynode you would dump the numerous crit nodes.

Crit seems to be very eh in this game. I hover at barely 18% at level 66, meanwhile my Accuracy is 80%.

Id rather do some damage then 0 and with the odd chance of doing triple if I actually manage ot hit.

I am level 62 act3 merciless now.
Well the build started for me to shine in 30ish levels. Cruel act1-3 was just really roflstomp in terms of dmg. Ofcourse i was killed was too but like 97% of time they couldnt do anything to me. As soon as i saw mobs they were dead (except rares and bosses obv.)

But then i hit merciless.... Tbh i felt carried to act3. At the start of act1 merciless i managed to buy DH somehow for super low price(lucky!) but still didnt have chain. I tought i hit a wall... w/o chain i had 1,2k dps ice shot(aoe) and 2,1k burning arrow(single). But i felt that i don't kinda low damage. It was super hard to clear area w/o like dying 3-5 times (Mb its just me)

Today got chain. Put everything togheter dh+chain. Now i sit at 630dps w/ ice shot and 1,1k burning arrow. When i got chain i tought that i will overcome this wall but i think it became even taller.

I am considering that all these problems are cuz of my gear. Hitting this wall made sad can't think straight :D

My gear

Replace gloves/ring/quiver asap. At this point you want as much +lightning gear that you can find. Attack Speed on gloves will help too. Stun duration on quiver is nice, same with belt. Boots are nice nice but i would look for a pair with movement speed as an alternative. Are you using projectile weakness?

Is there a chance you can comment on my gear? Ill toss an Orb of Alchemy your way ;P

As the numbers attest, this build cranks up the Lightning Damage. Multiply the increased ele dps by 2 with a Death's Harp. I've said all along, rely on LA undiluted from supports as your main attack. The increased aoe affects Lightning Arrow and makes a huge difference.

Is this confirmed? I have conflicting information all over the place specifically regarding increased aoe affects.

Also do you thing its a good idea to go Static Arc to get up to 20% Shock Chance and then pick up the never miss but never crit keystone?

I wouldn't post something without having tested it myself & firmly believing that whatever I am saying is true. But feel free to believe whomever you want.

No. Resolute Technique works ok for leveling and large packs but does shit for single target dps. You wont have enough firepower to take down some low level map bosses alone. I tested Resolute Technique with this with spec in CB. Fine for mobs, terrible for single target.

I'd reroll your armor for better res. 3-4 res on armor is great. The es is nice tho & you look cool.

Wakes speak for themselves :) Nice. They used to be 25% Chance to Flee tho :o And my pair in CB were 200 Light. Either way they smexy and i want them.

Idk what you are doing with that bow.

Gloves are serviceable.

I like your ring :)

Nice mask.

Get a new quiver, necklace & coral ring.

Nice belt :) Look for stun duration on an ele belt = naise

Thanks man. Im using that bow right now cause of the socket and because the slow attack speed of DH drives me up the wall at times.

What should we look for in a quiver. Do you think this would be better?

Cause on paper it shows less DPS...
Is
a viable bow to use?

Also what is the main reason for doing shadow instead of ranger?
