I've played both this build, and the BM elemental ranger up into maps, if anyone is on the fence... go with ranger. You cannot survive late game with this build unless you are on crack and don't enjoy having fun. You will have about the same damage with ranger, but will have insanely high survivability too. I don't think this guy factored in the increased damage, and new mobs from act 3 when he made this build, and unless you figure out some way to dodge flicker strike and arc, you will get 1 shot all day. Again, I've played both specs... ranger is unfathomably better. I really don't see what is good about this build, it just lacks survivability and dances around the tree.

Im going to be honest I think this guy might be right. Im level 65 right now and I have run right into a brick wall. Survivability is a massive issue. You do a lot of damage, but you will get annihilated if you aren't playing at 100% all the time. Its very annoying.

What build is this? Link?
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, this is a long thread.

What's your opinion on the 'Piercing Shots' passive? It does seem to be about 8 points out of the way of your standard build, but - correct me if I'm wrong - lightning/ice arrow scale off physical damage, so the points would not be wasted. Thoughts?

I played around with the build a little bit and that's what I came up with. I felt that some of the points were wasted (like all the int nodes) and not picking up Divine Toughness and Static Blows when you're so close to them seemed like a mistake.

I am in the same boat as other people now though, I'm level 67 with around 1600 life and 800 ES with capped AR and you really get shit on by just about everything. I've relied on Skeletons + Spell Totem to get through a lot of the content but I don't see myself doing very much in maps with my current character.

I think I will try a Ranger next.
I am also stuck, this is not an end game build.. Abandon ship while you can.
Honestly I think its less this build and more the fact that you are pretty much forced into Evasion and ES. And quite frankly Evasion is an awful defensive stat, and ES is no better until they allow flasks to somehow regen ES.
I'm gonna try to modify this build a bit to get Iron reflexes.. Question is, does +% Armour skills increase Armour converted from Evasion?

Build will be something like this;

Or this;

If +%Armor increases Armor gained from converted Evasion I may drop Deadly Draw (Bow crit bottom right) and pickup Body and Soul (Templar starting area)

I really dont get it guyz, how the f*ck you lack of survivability.

Im 43 and i got 3 bro zombie with 1500 hp.
No totem needed just zombie + minion life.

1. Walking around.
2. Find group of monsters.
3. Use
.
4. 1-2-3 shot everything.
5. Profit.

Anyway, it still glass cannon build for ones who like this.

p.s. when i playing elebowShadow i feel like im thief from "Thief" game.
Path of Exile > Diablo II > TorchLight 2 > Diablo I > Hello Kitty Online > Diablo III
I've been having fun with this build, just about level 70 at the moment. One question though, as I was thinking about dropping the AoE skills (Blast Radius and Amplify) - do they affects skills that are linked with Chain? if they do I think I will still drop Blast Radius as I can make up the damage elsewhere, but not Amplify.
So first page only has up to 90 points taken which im almost at. Can anyone post their build who has been following this past the90 points taken? Also Iron reflexes is interesting alhou costly to get to might be worth it for survivability.
