Tyr's **0.11.1** Pure Elemental Bow Spec

Hey Tyrr, how about writing about your active gems and their support linked? And Auras, when to level them up and such? I'm following this build but I can't tell what's the best right now. For instance, I took as the first support gem Fork over Weapon Elemental Damage, did I choose wrong? Thanks for the tips (:
Picked up a weapon elemental damage gem, holy shit did that do wonders for my dps.

With Death's Harp:

AOE = Ice Shot + Chain + Weapon Elemental Damage + Mana Leech (4 link)
(You may opt to swap Ice Shot for Lightning Arrow if you are partying with others that have Cold damage AOE. Ice Shot is generally better aoe than Lightning Arrow due to the secondary cone of Ice Shot. Of course also swap in Lightning Arrow if most of the mobs in your map are resist Cold.)

Single Target = Burning Arrow Lv 4 + Weapon Elemental Damage + Culling Strike + Mana Leech

Clarity Aura should be levelled to 5 or 6.

Damage Auras should be maxed, however i only use Wrath. My mana pool can't handle the 30% reserve auras at the moment.

Eventually use 2 seperate 3/4 links with Reduced Mana + your Auras

In order to not have to reroll items 50000 times I'm looking to get armor with inherent green sockets. As I want ES that means getting the Eva/ES hybrid gear.

By doing this I won't have armor. Is there a way to get Iron Reflexes at all with this build?

If not, is high resists/life and some ES really going to be good enough to survive with next to no armor?

This build isnt for you then. And neither is crafting from the sound of it.

Wow this isn't what I expected to hear. What kind of build is so completely set on you spending thouasands of orbs to achieve perfection? So there is no way at all to play this at merciless and beyond without crafting the utmost perfect rolls on the perfect base item? I think when you said "more for a second character" you meant "more for someone who is rich and wants to spend hours banging their head against the wall". Sorry not trying to be rude was just excepting a little guidance not to be told the build isn't for me.
Does this mean that this build is not good without perfect gear?

And if it's possible what can we drop in order to get the Static blows in the upper left corner?...or it's not needed?

Look at the skill tree. Find Iron Reflexes. Its too far away for you to use with this build. If you want Iron Reflexes, this build isnt for you.

If you think crafting 50000 orbs instead of using crap that drops on the ground then this game probably isnt for you.

If you want to put words in my mouth then this thread isnt for you either!

Either way, thanks for reading. :)

No! If someone speaks in absolutes on this thread and they aren't me speaking facts then they are Sith & need to be destroyed.

Ive never used Static Blows. At later levels, like idk 75+, give it a shot & tell us how it goes.

I think we misunderstood one another. I'm asking if the build is survivable enough without any armor. If not I will make sure to fit armor in.
