I'm relying on Bear Trap & Rejuv Totem. I just hit 50 & really dont have the gear I need. Im just going to have to craft better armor/helm/boots. I've been making up for lost time by rushing to the end of a3 Cruel.

Temp Chains will help tremendously. Projectile Weakness & the LA setup below is extremely effective. Poison Arrow + Stun & Vulnerability works extremely well for high es, regen mobs.

Chain dropped today but I need the dps from Ice Shot more than I need the CC. Quality on Ice Shot really makes a difference as it prolongs the chilled duration. Neither are strong enough right now, which is perfectly fine.

Another observation I made was the distinct clusterfuck not having Diamond Flasks presents. I'm reevaluating how I see crit chance. I dont crit at all now, it could be Crit Chance support will be needed. The Crit weakness curse as well. Keep a lookout for these! Test taking more Crit Chance (not dmg multi).

Im gonna link my gear so you can see the supports. This is far from optimal, not even close. I try to get absolutely as far as I can without having to craft replacement gear when leveling.

That being said, I made the necklac, quiver, belt & rings.



As to the Chaos issue, this is new. Personally, I think chaos dmg might be scaled down but for now try to craft it into your gear. Pick up the random 8% CI res if you think it will help. CI isnt that far away. If it really is a bitch to deal with I'll rework an alt CI build. This initially was a CI build, when ES was doubled with CI.

Use Wrath & Anger. Try em out, especially wrath. Dont forget its ok to not level your auras after a certain point. I got lucky and a 2nd reduced mana dropped. Up until now I havent leveled Wrath past bout 7.

So I've hit a wall. I'm currently lvl 49, just into merciless. All of Act 3 cruel I felt totally carried. My dps was meh and my hp was 1-3 hits from anything and I was toast. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong here.

also, here's my build so far, I should note i have 3 free passives, 1 from lvling right before piety and then 2 from killing her. Should I invest in gear, what am I missing?

I'm no expert but I see no anger/wrath you have lots of element dmg mods but not much elemental dmg for it to mod, I may be wrong though.

The elemental dmg comes from lightning arrow and so on. its just weird. my brother made a dual wield life on hit dualist and 1-2 shots everything and has full hp. me on the other hand. I run from everything and it takes like 4-5 shots from my lightning arrow to down a mob when I'm SOLOing. I'm like..whaaa..how? dont even get me on mobs with + speed or flicker strike. since idie in 1-2 shots the game is over until i find a party that I can stand behind.

you can use hatred too, its like what tyr said, an additional cc effect on almost all types of arrows you shoot, also i noticed Iron grip gem is good early on which cost no mana multiplier but does increase dps

But if you add wrath etc.... It's even more dps

Lvl 10 wrath adds 3-47 ish dmg with your added weapon elemental it would add around 150-200 dps just from that gem

Just find someone and borrow it n try.

I still don't get how I can solve my dmg problems. armor, gloves, head, boots can't have dmg affixes. Whats wrong with my equip?

Easy mobs requires 3-5 shots with my lighting\ice arrow, makes me to go oom pretty fast. With clarity+hatred I have only about 130 mana left. Without clarity I'm just oom.
Dps shown on tooltips is - Ice shot - 362, lighting arrow - 298. Without hatred - ice shot - 298, lighting arrow - 248.

My gear isn't that great and at level 48 I'm doing 1800 dps with burning arrow, 700dps with LA + LMP and I have 1200HP and ~200ES
