Tyr's **0.11.1** Pure Elemental Bow Spec

Atm i have LA with LMP and ice shot with added cold damage and WED, i also have projectile weakness, vulnerability, poison arrow and bear trap, im doing it right?

Hmm, I seem to have hit a wall in act 3 cruel and I'm not quite sure what specifically is holding me back.

850 Life/100 ES, 600 Mana, 400 armor, 2.2k evasion, 60+ all ele res, -20 chaos res.

I switch between Ice Shot/Burning Arrow w/ Faster Attacks + WED (720 dps), for AoE I'm using Lightning Arrow w/ WED + LMP + Fork (300 dps, I can't just barely support this).

Only using Grace and Clarity atm.

Think maybe I should add Skele or regen totem for support?

I'd like to know what prices we should expect for Death's Harp and Wake as well. Its one thing to learn how to play and get skills/gear, etc...its a whole other thing to learn the economics.

As a newer player I don't know what to offer these guys without getting laughed off or robbed blind.

As far as prices, from my experience I bought a chain for 9 Chaos and a Scouring (cheapest I've seen though). I've only seen one Wake of Destruction and I got outbid from the onset, it sold for 3 Exalt, and I've seen two Death Harps, one went for 1 Exalt and a GCP and the other went for an Exalt and 3 GCP.

Those of you having mana problems, Ice shot/LA+chain+WED is easily sustainable with a mana leech gem. Just finished act 3 cruel and I'm having no problems in A1 merc after picking it up. Also, spelltotem+summon skeletons makes this game easy mode.


Elemental dmg % and ele dmg rolls boost your dps substantially. Example:

I bought Death's Harp (3fusion) and Chain (2GCP) and I don't even use them.. I prefer a Stronger/Faster bow with LMP + Pierce + LA and Burning Arrow + WED. I've tested over and over and just prefer LMP with a faster bow over chain and a slow DH. (And Chain without the added arrow from DH just sucks)

@Tyr: How would you spend the remaining points in this build? Thinking of picking up that 1 point of 16% Chaos Resist at top right and Elementalist on the left at the templar start.

Some other options i'm considering: Piercing Shots (35% pierce) Deadeye (20% Accuracy) Heartpierce (60% Crit Chance) and also maybe Alchemist / Crystal Skin / Deadly Draw / Arrow Dodging.

Can't get them all of course.

Is it okay if I use pure evasion armors instead of armor/es? I prefer evasion because i'd like to focus on surviving hard-hitting bosses and rare mobs. Of course I'm backing it up with high HP. Currently I'm stacking on max life and evasion ratings on almost all my equips and accessories with resists.

Which leads me to another question, how will this build fair against chaos mobs on higher levels? Because if I'm not mistaken, elemental resist bonuses don't include chaos and this is not a CI build, so you'll pretty much have an extremely low chaos resist on higher difficulties. And I don't think it'll be efficient if you just stack chaos resist, because you'll be missing out on just about everything else ( in my case a lot of HP and evasion) and I think it'll be almost impossible to find gears with HP, evasion at chaos resist in them.

Just bought death harp for 4 alchs. Yay!
Now onto chain.

So i got a deaths harp and chain and packs are dieing fast @ lvl 54. I do have problems with yellow/orange bossmobs though. What do you guys use to kill the tougher mobs?
