[1.2.0] Dual Claws Are Cool

I love this build, and humbly suggest the name Red Dawn.
Analyze, Adapt, and Ask the devs to change it.
I really need some help guys. This is my first character in this game and my shadow looks like this right now. I would like to go like this. But I don't know if this is the right thing to do. The shadows feels kind of week. May be it is my crap equipment maybe I should delete acrobatics and go for nullification and void barrier? Not sure about Vaal Pact. After that I was looking forward to skill more Life.

The main problem is, that the shadow dies easy and I have trouble to fit in a role if I run in a group. Sometimes it feels like grace is the only thing that I can do to support the others. I can't run map "save" >=level 61.

I'm using Double Strike, Reave (I hope I spell them correct) and some others like Bloodrage(?) and Frenzy. Maybe I'm doing everything right for the moment without knowing it, but seeing others dealing with hordes of enemies and doing the job for the whole team makes me question myself and the shadow I'm playing.

Please help? :)
Why Red Dawn? I think I'm missing something here...

What do you think about charisma later, for dual aura? Worth it?

Already running two auras, one's Purity. I can actually run two 60%s on a high level RM, but it's slightly uncomfortable with that little mana left if I'm not running a BM gem for my primary skill. My personal feeling, however, is still that Charisma is not worth the points, and so I won't go there; if it's worthwhile to you, take it.

No problem with your planned or current build, so guessing it's your gear. Good level-appropriate gear will spike both your damage and survivability. Then look to your skill links - have you supported your skills correctly?

Do note that double strike forces the mainhand weapon, which means your offhand is just about useless if you're using double strike.

With gear, this build is one of those which can, as you put it, "do the job for the whole team". I've listed the most common mistakes, which is as far as I can go without seeing your current gear setup.

double strike or dual strike? Hmm it is the one where both weapons hit at time. How can I link my gear? :)
As the name implies, dual strike hits with both weapons at once.

To link your gear, click your portrait on the top of the screen while on a Post Reply page, then click on the gear item.

This build is bad fucking ass!
Thank you for your build and useful information Kiri!

I am new to PoE and I had been playing musical characters, getting several classes up to late teens/early 20s in level giving different things a try. I found your build and decided to give it a go!

I managed to clear normal difficulty in nemesis without dieing! Yay! I am not running your build verbatim, I am running a more evasion/acrobatics based derivative of your build---which I think is how you intended it, to be up for interpretation/customization!--- This is mainly because I got lucky and a got an Ignomon amulet unique drop pretty early on! I don't have blood-seeker though. I think I may even go Vaal pact later on!

I thought you my appreciate hearing that your guide got me through ^-^
>.> Also whirling blades. Whirling blades pulled me out of many fires lol.

I swear I'd have an easier time buying gear if I hadn't written this guide. Everyone's jumping on the Bloodseekers before I can get to them.

@zersus Not surprised at all. Use poe.xyz.is to get better claws. You'll probably have to buy the Bloodseeker in game, as those don't stay on the indexer for long, but feel free to try. The rest of the gear looks reasonable - with the increased leech from dealing more claw damage, you should see a massive jump in survivability too.

@UnderworldSkull Glad to hear you're enjoying the build!

@Rudette Yup, up for customisation is the best way to put it. Congratulations on beating Dominus, that guy is a pain. Good luck, don't die, and maybe our paths will cross in Nemesis. =)

how much must I pay for a Bloodseeker?

@Kirielis it would help if you would show your shadow equipment.
