[1.2.0] Dual Claws Are Cool

@Kirielis Yup that's what I figured out. It also explains why I couldn't really feel the mana regen, since % of my damage are rather low at the moment.
On an other note, just finished Act2, for the first time I got some leech issues XD First time a boss hits harder than I do. Gotta gain some more damage ^^

Or some more health to buffer you through the spikes.
Analyze, Adapt, and Ask the devs to change it.
I meant, Act 2 Normal. Who needs health at that point ? XD
And I also said leech problems, not health problems. I just had to stop hitting to drink some pots at a point, that's all.
Nice and clear! Congratulations and thanks for sharing your build!
Dual Claws are cool, indeed ;)

I have a lvl 82+ Dual Claws Shadow in Standard. A delight to play :) (Cold crit, Reave and stuff, so a bit different from yours).

howdy OP...I have been following your build pretty much blow for blow...I am now lvl 43 and working thu act 2 cruel...im finding while my life steal is getting my out of trouble 99% of the time(my m8 is a witch and his aura for mana regen is saving ma ass) my damage is a little lacking...I was thinking of getting some Crit nodes (I hav 73% chance on double strike) what do you recon? how should i go about it?

edit: I am REALLY enjoying this build....Flicker, Whirlwind strike and Cyclone...amazing

As a general rule, this usually means it's time to look for a better weapon or two. Crit still needs good weapons, and the passive points have to come from somewhere. Usually damage nodes.

Hi Kirielis,

Thank you for the guide, I was able to check that I was going in the right direction for my first char!

I've been messing around with your passive tree and I came up with something different using the same number of skill points and I'd like your opinion on that :

Basically, your build is focusing primarily on health, so why don't we go get the big node dedicated to that?

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYA_5MeGjBUmVcoKrVIsbPrjm177UE2Qq7PVUuoGow2JpUPq-d0PWU2PWHikoCly4hrDPLjhAW1Dki0xY2_pzRAVesUUUdvVz7PMHyquAyNveZ_K6p_DUn5Y9aKjX0V8BrbOljuDkxgBH4j9lb6BLGHGe_w_MWVZlpIZ6DdDQOHh3Y6s5AKLOlwchutSn0VINN-Kk0_J0rIbqq18jWS_o9N46ZXOuHyRf4KrFmI8edjtz5Bh_noaHTaYpSg

I've done a breakdown of the stuff we gain/loose compared to the build you propose in the OP, using POE tree planner app :

My build :
IAS : +64%
Phys damage : +214%
+Health : 163
+%Health : +232%
Health regen : 2.2%/s
Resists : 10%

Your build :
IAS : +90%
Phys damage : +231%
+Health : 158
+%Healtg : +196%
Health regen : 2.5%/s
Resists : 12%

So my build has -26% IAS, -17% Physical damage and -.3% health/s but +36% health (and 5hp more ^^)

Regarding resists, you don't get the 12% ofDiamond Flesh but you get 10% and access to 3 nodes where you can get 18% resists which is not bad. Mana regen too is much higher, +60% instead of 20%

Also, another life node is on the path toward the big life node, so you can virtually get +32% for 4 points versus 6 points on your build.

Thank you for your response and keep up the good work!

Hi guys.

Thx @Kirielis for sharing this build.

I am trying thjis build at this moment. I made the choice to not taking the "rakers nodes" (4% LL with claws) considering I have enough Life Leech with Bloodseeker and to grab more HP node.

This is my build :

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYBA4cEfgSxBS0F-Q5ID6sRlhXwGtsbrRzcHhoj9iQ8JpUnqSgqKaUwVDSTNkI4ljpYPWVAoEd-SVFKfUxgTipQQlPfVUtW-ljbWkhabVuvYEth4mKsY3BlTWegbXtuaXBydO1673_GhNmE74cZh3aMNpKAlWaZV5smm4Odqp65oi6jiqc0p1yoGqvFrK-uz7GztUi2QbcXvqfAD9JN037Wnd0N3vbndOeR6Nbrju1B7g7v4-_w8Xb5Y_zF_5M=

With this build I dont have frenzy charges but it gives me more HP (cf POE tree planner).
(+5K hp with BoR).

Master of the Arena. Dual wield block. Attack speed. Frenzy charge. More dual wield block. Potential to take IR or VP, if that floats your boat.

Focusing primarily on health? Nope, no way. Rather, I'm a huge fan of block and ias, and that +2 range from Master of the Arena is amazing. And that is why I go down into duelist.

That said, if that build works for you then you should absolutely do it. (And it looks like a pretty good Scion start, if you're interested in that sort of thing.) To repeat myself from the OP, all of the build links I give are SUGGESTED builds, and you should always seek to tailor a build to your own play style, available gear and acceptable level of risk.

If that works for you, go right ahead! 5k HP with Rain is brilliant, even if it is a bit overkill for my liking.

What do you think about charisma later, for dual aura? Worth it?
