[GUIDE] 1339 Fireball Shotgun/CI Sorc v1.0.0
I have to disagree about inf mant. Yes, it's true that you lose some of dmg while fighting chaos res mobs. But still its 3/4 of dmg, that is enough dmg to kill. And well, excluding bosses, mobs dont even have time to burn so it isn't a big difference. I didn't say that void baterries ain't really good for this build, but you don't have to wear them(what is a big cost) to smash enemies. It is a difference, but people should know that that build is good even if they can't afford batteries. What about eye.. I never got into the situation where stunners caught me for so long that I died. Still, as I said, most of my feelings come from from partying maps, when you don't have to tank all the enemies. In my opinion, cannot be stunned is very important, but mods that you may lose from rare amulet are even more important, but it's still a choice.

I want to ask if the upgrade I made has any good. My idea was to bring this build more survivability without losing much dps. I don't use eye of chayula so was wondering how to deal with situations when I got into a trap of hordes of physical mobs (which rarely happens). Tell me if you think it's good. To do that, I use some gear: also good granite flask is required . Results? I think good. Molten shell 100k dmg cleares all monsters nearby you, so you can get of the bad situation. The only thing that may be hard is that on lvl26 it requires to prevent 3,7k dmg first. How to do this? While using shield, you block 25-30% of dmg. With molten shell +granite flask, even without any base armour you get 50% physical reduction. If we decide to invest 3-6 points in shield block nodes, the real pdps prevention is 70-80%. So we really need to take 1k damage to activate shell. I need to know if I'm calculating something bad, so hope for some answers.

i want to say i agree with grozaa but you will also need more multiplier. I used to run this build to the exact except for the high es armor. Now made alot of changes a whole different setup except i still use voidbatteries. also my dps gets upto 19k and crit at a whole lot more. i didnt level it like this just put in alot of regrets but i do way more damage kill faster.

I just tried the discharge bc it gets upto 64k when dualing voidbatteries. I get more damage when dualing them but get more def. i should make a new build because my alterations are now alot better, but I have less mana regen. but i am lazy. lol. Im going to try and get it up. but the changes are more upto date. the original build was great it really was. but now the changes is better especially for the name. any questions or to yell at me for putting this in anothers post. that is fine with me, but just thought i would share it. and if you wanna play ingame and see it in action since i dont use twitch or do videos friend me ingame chr is phish rawrawr Last edited by Phish#0612 on May 6, 2014, 2:13:54 PM

I am using a very similar item build and the Skill Tree from the guide. Sometimes i die because i am not careful but that's rare. I swapped the Circlet with the three Dragons because i prefer the increased dmg at shocked enemys and an arc totem which freezes the enemys helps a lot with large groups. The Increased Critical Damage was a really nice idea. I tried and started to love it :) There is no need for firepen in my opinion.

Realistically, I could viably find a better replacement for Goldrim now that master crafting is available. Could find something with more Life, but at the moment I sit at a nice pool of around 4300 which is pretty good. Could also replace Goldwyrm, but once again, I really enjoy the item quantity for convenience, and it gives a nice boost to fire resistance. A good substitute would be a nice pair of rare boots or Rainbowstrides. I like non-legacy Kaoms as it gives a descent amount of life and a little boost to fire damage, which is useful. I go for Searing Touch as opposed to Dual Batteries. It is a cheaper option and has a fairly good return. I constantly run AA without any issues, and even before the mana cost reduction, due to the Spell Echo gem, I would never run out of mana, so I could constantly cast FB without any issues. I do on average 48,000 dps, and due to the way it all stacks, it is fairly good in reflect maps. I decided to go with this instead of the original ES build because back when I started it, ES wasn't as buffed as it was now, and the gear was horribly expensive (still is). But hey, just thought I would share my take on this build :D P.S. When it crits, the burn damage is just fun to witness. Last edited by Nirvanna21#2477 on Sep 7, 2014, 9:31:30 PM
