Been using this build and haven't spent any currency on gear and I'm still able to do awesome damage and have good survivability. Most fun build I've played so far.

Been having fun fooling around with this build, thanks for the guide. I'm really looking forward to the point where I actually do decent damage. For now, I have to say that leveling has been pretty tough for levels 25-34 (where I'm at now).
Here's what I've noticed: 1) I have no tankability right now. I can only play in groups. I do such low damage right now that I doubt life leach would give me much sustain. As it is, I don't have life leach because it's hard to get good low level gear with linked sockets including blue, blue, red (for fb-pc on crit-fire pen). Which reminds me... 2) Everything resists fire. Use flammability 3) PC on crit rarely builds up at these low levels. I've just bought Maligaro's and I'm going to make a quick stop near CI for that 60% spell crit node. Hopefully that will change things. My recommendations for leveling: Get just enough mana regen that you can leave arctic armor on while running. Don't worry about all the max mana nodes early on. Prioritize dmg and cast speed nodes early. Also resist nodes. If you have only 3-L gear, I expect the best combo early on is going to be FB-LMP-LL as crits don't happen often enough early on to justify pc on crit. Here's my current progression in bringing some MF into this build:

MF Gear: Can run up to 72 Maps solo with the dedicated MF gear equipped, above that i only use it for Uniques/Exiles - getting them down to low health, luring them away with a decoy totem, switching gear and killing them with full MF. Currently at 226/34, the gear isn't perfect yet 'cause it's all self-found, but the quite high IIR adds up with map IQ getting me 1-2 uniques per 2 solo maps. Bt. for Anarchy players, i found the Coordination node helps reaching your Dex requirements since you will miss +20 Dex from Chayula. Yo. It's been a while. After fooling around with some new builds that turned out to be not nearly as ownage as this one, I decided to invest more time in my sorc. I am currently on my way to 88, and have been looking to upgrade my gear a bit. I will update the guide soon with a bit of new insight.

I have been following this build and my fire witch is now 56 in act 2 Merc, but I have been having problems of not having enough AOE. My LMP fireballs often hit one or two targets leaving 10 to 20 more mobs. Does this get better once I get better crit chances and cast speed?
