" Yes its purely optional. I found that my survival is better using chain simply because i always party with my brother running maps where monster hp tend to be longer. I often have to keep shooting to stay alive especially against chaos snakes. Without chain, LA tend to not hit some of the snakes (positioning issue - scattered snakes)thus less life on hit. Hello there, i am a 76 hardcore ranger, i ve read almost all pages of petrovs,nugiyen,martinscreek shock pulse, blood magic builds and i came up to a total different build that abuses the gem blood magic and i am using 6 auras with 30% extra benefit from auras talents. I put up this uniq chest
before i use my wrath,anger,grace(so that will eat my life instead of mana) and then i cast the other auras with mana(haste,determination,hatred). The idea is to play with all 6 auras for more survivability and dps and only be able to cast my curse(projectiles or condactivity) and my summon skellies totem. I'll try with chain + lmp for a while and see how it feels.
Btw, I think I'm experiencing another error. This is my DPS with each set of gems and no auras LA + Weapon Ele Dmg = 917 LA + Weapon Ele Dmg + LMP (+24% increased dmg) = 698 LA + Weapon Ele Dmg + Chain (+22% increased dmg) = 495 What's happening? With LMP it should reduce dmg by 30% and increase it by 24%, so (917*0.7)*1.24 = 796 And with Chain it should reduce by 50% and increase it by 22%, (917*0.5)*1.22 = 559 Why is the dmg much lower than that? The increased damage from the gem level is barely doing anything. IGN: Esane

Ty for posting that armor, didnt even knew sth like this exists. Might be worth using it 5L/6L with lightning arrow, skilling out of blood magic and using auras simply on mana, rather usin flat amount auras with bloodmagic. so u can run as much %auras as u want. Nice idea. U dont loose 2 much health compared to running 3+rm on bm and the aditional %-auras will boost both, dps and survivability. For ur single target attack u could even link a manaleech if needed. Gotta check this out i guess, looks like a great idea so far.

Not sure which bow to use, i have 2, 1 which has nice elemental lighting damage and decent physical dmg,and one which hs slightly better physical damamge, and attacks 1.51 per second, my dps is higher with the latter, and i attack very fast, but with the first one, i have the 6-76 lighting dmg... although my dps is higher with the second bow
