Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

Hey I was fiddling with the build myself, Petrov would you mind looking at it and telling me what you think? Seems like a build that is to your taste since I get the impression you go more for DPS than HP in your own personal build.

Thread was confusing as hell until I found the point you updated builds (everyone kept referring to "the build" when you list a few. :) Quick suggestion, maybe state plainly on original post to go to page 30(?) for feedback. If not, know with a little work they can figure it out like I did.

The tankier build interests me. Does anyone have any feedback on that build, if it feels noob friendly (which is why I'd prefer a tankier build to start with).

If I go tankier, does point blank play back into things? No idea if the node is the same as original build, which sounds like it wasn't powerful enough for OP to take + it got him into trouble trying to keep close. Anyone know how much less it does at further ranges?

I don't remember much from CB on my ranger except I hated what a mana sponge I was, so I'd love to have high HP, regen and get to blood magic. I'm not a pro kiter and I tend to face tank too much.

Note I'm on my first run so I really have no idea, but it seemed to me that iron grip and the extra 30% ele dmg is very tempting. I've also been worried about lack of elemental resist (had 50% resist on my first build) since I may not be inclined to farm myself very good gear.

First though I'd like to see how much iron grip actually contributes to a well geared character - hopefully someone can provide numbers.

what level should you get the aura's to my wrath is level 7, wondering if its too high and grace is 4.

for people who have followed the oringal build and are now level 40 ish, whats the best course of aciton, as you dont have enough refund points to correct it, the only option is another character or buying the orbs to refund them

Around what level should we be when we get blood magic for the first time? How much HP/DPS is required for it to work?

Not to nitpick, but you spend one more point than necessary on atleast the tankie + ele damage build.

for what kind of bow should i look when doing elemental bow ranger? i got one with 108-238 phisical damage and adds 18-37 fire damage and another with 38-110 phisical damage and adds 13-26 cold and 5-52 lithning damage... whitch one would be better with this build? the one with double elemental damage even tho it has half the phisical damage of the first bow?

Next I was wondering about skill gems. I got my hands on a 10 quality lightning pen. Would that be to prefer over any of the other supports on LA (only have access to 4 link atm).

I also had these drop for me, and they seemed to fit this build rather nicely, especially since i snagged a quality Conductivity and Projectile Weakness.

Any help and comments would be appreciated, and thanks again for all your hard work!
