Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

yeah shock would be great! But i don´t know if i want to invest that amount of nodes...

Leveled one in the CB and it worked really well. Now going with basicly the same build but gonna go for the Inner Force and see if I'll get some boost for my auras.

Someone was planning to go with LS + FORK + LMP + PIERCE but that won't do cos mana/life cost will be insane and you would be struggling with dps with that setup. Personally would prefer something like LS + CHAIN + WEP ELEDMG + FASTER ATTACKS. Good to keep in mind too that there have to be some sockets for life leech gems.

Life regen is useless given that your dps is high enough so no need to spend points for that. Also going for Static Blows will sacrifice too much from life/dps imo.

The gear doesn't show for me, not sure if that's just me though :(

Will there be any problems if I follow the OPs build but skip on the Blood magic entirely?

I made my own Ranger, and then compared to your build. I was satisfied that i really went for the right direction, for the second part i draw inspiration from your build. Very smart and elegant build, petrov. Just one question. When to go Blood Magic, which level or which HP level. I started it lv 44 and it didnt worked well.

Is this build still viable? I just made my ranger and im planning to follow this build.. Will you be able to make a guide for us folllowers? Like what gem/gear choices on certain levels, play style, things like that.. :)

is it still best to keep LA at a low level, or is it best to level it now?

I'd like to know this as well. What about replacing BM with 'Mana Flows' (which isn't out of the way, unlike BM)? With the points you save trying to get to BM, maybe you could put them into other important mana nodes?

I can simply tell you both BM is well worth it.
You don't have to pay attention to mana (which you'll run out of if you didn't have BM), you can level your skills up to max, because you don't need to adjust the mana usage, and you get 2/3 free flask slots to get what you most like.
