Unwavering Stance don't mean that your evasion rating will be 0, only chance to evade will be 0%. All points will be converted into armor if you take Iron Reflex.

Is this an hardcore build?

can you take a look at this duelist build? do you think it will play similarly?

it's based on the BM bow duelist nugiyen played in the hc race. just with US and IR instead of going into the templar tree.



and isn't chain too strong to not take it with LA? LA + weapon elemental dmg + LMP + chain + life leech? or will the life cost be to high?

and do you have any problems with elemental reflect minion rare mobs? because LA (especially with chain) is like suicide in a pack of those on hc.

Krelian: I'm using a similar build right now, with a couple of changes:



I haven't taken yet the attack speed nodes and dext nodes next to Iron Grip. Lvl 63, it works perfectly fine. Only problem is that you have to get dext on your gear. Also I'm not sure I will be able to do this build as a first char for OB, because of that dext problem, I have some nice gear with dext on it, but I can't say if I will be able to get the same right at the start of OB. No problem at all with the life cost, even with LA lvl 10 /chain/weapon elemental damage/LMP.

Gear:



I'm running anger, wrath, grace and discipline. Weapon Elemental Damage on Lightning Arrow, the Item quantity/rarity here is just to farm Fellshrine. Ice Shot instead of LA for maps with lot of lightning resist.

For this build the only healing would be from your flasks right? No Hp Regen or life leech?

You definitely want a life leech gem if you're running BM with elemental damage. This build doesn't use regen, but you can spec into it easily if you want it.

That's fine, do rangers get life leech gem any time soon from questing? Do you suggest getting Fork & Less or Multiple Projectile for LA? Cause wouldn't it not only hit multiple enemies but once it splits from Fork won't it hit all targets at least twice cause LA hits everyone around it? and what skills do you recommend to use? I was thinking LA, Decoy Totem, Blood Rage, Anger/Vitality (maybe not vitality if I have life leech), and temporal chains.

I was hoping to use this build for OB, any chance you might get an opportunity to update it in the next day for us noobs? I am worried LA is not going to be a viable choice with the new changes and no testing. Thanks!

It's not a question of it being Viable, it's that it won't be as dominant/OP as before. In addition, if you use fork or chain that is decreased as well. The LA ranger builds were just too strong.
