big grats to you, OP. great review and it does indeed sound great.

I just wanted to say how amazing it is, that most of the posts I read in this thread are by people who seem to have totally missed Titan Quest.
Everyone keeps saying diablo diablo...
I was a hardcore diablo/hellfire/d2/lod player, and i mean hardcore...but titan quest makes those games unplayable. Especially with upgraded mods like underlord. Its really hard to imagine so many people have just completely missed TQ. It is by far the best ARPG ever released, and we will have to see if PoE can live up to it. Sadly, most upcoming, and every single already-released game, fall far short, dead at its feet.

+replayability
+customizable class system (50+ fully viable working classes)
+better storyline based on true world mythology than any other game ive seen
+most robust combat system in any ARPG to date
+visually beautiful (D2 looks like a pixelated 1980's game in comparison)
+amazing soundtrack
+best itemization system in any ARPG
+fixes or upgrades every feature of past ARPGs including Diablo 1 and 2

though i do take negative point for one thing:
-doesnt have runeword-type system ala D2, which was quite a good feature. instead, you collect relic/charm shards and create full relics/charms to enchant on your items.

if you want something to hold you over until PoE, you can pickup TQ and the IT expansion on steam for under $10.
and then go get underlord mod.
most if not all the UL playing community are eager waiting for PoE as well, so youll be in a crowd of future PoE players too. already some guilds and PoE groups are starting to form here.
