Hi,

I'm struggling with my character. I've discovered your build very recently but I was going in a similar direction.
Thing is when I discovered your build, I already added points on the southern line in order to get Golem's Blood (1,5% life regen) and Diamond Flesh (+12 res all).

So I'm trying to build my character with this and also with the very poor items I got. This is my first character, only level 58 in Hardcore, but I have not been very lucky.
I don't master the currencies and prices yet so I can't trade and find proper gear. But I also love building a character only with its drop.

My Gear:

Just got this build to lvl 60 and everything is going swimmingly - except my armor is really low. Where should I focus on upgrades first?

im currently capable of running two auras, should i run wrath and grace for now for the safety factor instead of wrath and anger for the big dps boost?

I'd def upgrade the chest, my chest is 1044 evasionrating.

How do I calculate what will give me most dmg boost? For example, 1-27 light dmg or 20% ele dmg?

I just started this build because it looked fun and I had all the gems for it sitting around in my stash.

How do people with this build deal with the abysmal single target dps?

Currently I am level 51 and my paperdoll DPS is 1078 with Wrath+Anger. My 4 link Frenzy is linked to BM+LL+WED and has 1600dps.

However, using it drains my life quickly. Unless a rare mob is surrounded and I can throw in Split arrows, I can't do any real damage to mobs (say with Extra Health and Regen) before I've used all my health pots.

Cruel Oak took me 3 tries with 4 health pots.

How does this build deal with high damage single targets lacking Life Leech?

I had an Alpha's Howl drop recently. What changes do I need to make to utilize it fully (e.g. drop any mana nodes)?

That's something you'll just need to test for yourself. Put on the helmet with all your aura gems in it, apply auras and see how much mana you have left. Since this build links everything to blood magic, it's fine to reserve literally all of your mana. If you're using any of those 4% nodes on the left side, you can drop those with alpha's howl. I wouldn't recommend dropping Charisma or Sovereignty though. The buff they apply to your auras is worth it on its own.

That's a tough choice man. Personally I don't feel that the build is capable of doing acceptable damage endgame without Anger. But I also don't feel that Grace is totally necessary for a bow projectile build considering the fact that you can kill everything from across the screen, or even off screen. I'd really recommend using Anger. The faster you kill shit, the less it will hurt you.

It's pretty important to use a quality frenzy gem until you really start stacking some flat elemental damage and get your 4th frenzy charge. Frenzy is a very fast attack once you get a 20% gem and a fast bow with some bonus IAS. High level Wrath and Anger will make a big difference, but you definitely need some flat elemental damage on almost every piece you can get it on and definitely some WED on at least belt and quiver. You have Static Blows yet? That is the other big part of it. When you're single target attacking you won't do much damage to anything that doesn't have at least one stack of shock.

Feel free to try elemental hit in place of frenzy if it's not what you'd hoped for. I have no problems with frenzy whatsoever but I know there are plenty of people who use my build and prefer to use EH instead, simply because it is higher single target dps. The only reason for using Frenzy is for the +20% attack/cast speed. However, I'm not sure how EH is doing since the patch. I know it was nerfed but I haven't spoken to anyone who has used it since. Doesn't seem like anyone I know is really using it, maybe there's a reason for that?
