I've not even been using it yet, and I'm level 66.
Just take CoDT to level 5 and molten + enduring as well, I'll probably go with temp chains with that.

The reason we don't use Hatred is because it converts a percentage of your physical damage into cold. This build does almost no physical damage whatsoever.

It adds the damage. About a third of it near lvl 20 in fact. Which can be a lot if you have a physical bow as Paranormia said.

I know how Hatred works, I guess convert isn't the correct word. Regardless, this build uses tri-ele bows with no extra physical damage.

Is there are any option of fast moving like Leap Slam, Flicker etc for archers?

Yep, you just need to weapon swap. You can use a Brightbeak in your weapon swap slot for super fast leap slamming. Especially if you link it to Faster Attacks. Alternatively, a high level Lightning Warp gem linked with a high level/quality Reduced Duration gem supposedly greatly reduces the delay between cast and teleport. I haven't tried it myself yet as I don't have a high level Lightning Warp or Reduced Duration gem.

To be honest I never even started using CWDT. I knew it would be nerfed soon so I decided to save myself the trouble. What I put in its place in this guide has yet to be determined. I'm considering putting Lightning Warp + Reduced Duration + Blood Magic + Faster Casting. If anyone has any recommendations let me know!

I was a beta player and started again with the release got some gear of my old chars.

Looks like you could use a lot more life. I also imagine your dps probably isn't too high yet, so using Life Gain on Hit instead of Life Leech would almost certainly be the better gem for you to link with Split Arrow. The other major problem with your Split Arrow setup is that you're using Faster Attacks instead of WED. Fix that and your dps will go up considerably. Your quiver provides you very little benefit if you're following this build. Are you using Resolute Technique? Try to get a quiver with 70+ life and 20%+ WED and a couple resists. Your amulet needs to be replace asap. Your bow is a bit lacking in attacks per second as well as elemental damage. It really helps to have a tri-elemental Imperial or Thicket bow. Geofri's Crest is actually a pretty decent helmet, but it lacks life. Get more life and more WED!! :D

Sir Davos, I'm following your build. What cam you recommend choosing for the bandit quest?
I'm stuck deciding that :D
I quite like Split Arrow on my ranger (using a build very similar to this one), and I think I'll use the same for my shadow. I can't quite put a finger on it, but LA doesn't have the "oomph" feel of SA. :) (I also occasionally experience frame drops in effect lit encounters.)

The ranger version of this build can easily be used with the Shadow, too, since it's just next door to the ranger, and there's good stuff on the way (haste), with just two additional dex nodes and a strength node in-between.

Thanks for the good work on this!
