How do you deal with Chaos dmg?
Or just avoid them?
I am running similar build but with CI and not with strong focus or MF, my question is whats best as 2nd ring (besides Dream Fragments), Gifts from Above or Perandus?

Its not made for maps. It's for Lunaris. If you want to do maps you can go CI and lose wondertraps. Its not the strongest mapping build because double reflect, lower max res reflect etc is a pain in the ass. Its doable and ive done it before without dying but it's super slow.

I would wear a high ES/Int ring in the second slot for maps. You'll need all the ES you can get for double reflect and similiar mods.

You're right. I've since replaced increased aoe with increased crit strikes and sit at a comfortable base 55% crit chance. As far as the unique flask goes, how did you use it? My sporker could spam curses to keep up the flask but this build is more hectic and has low mana + relatively high mana cost forcing the use of flasks constantly; leaving me at full or no mana with not much in between.

Really great build, also sold off my shavs sporker. :)

Its hard to maintain on trash. I used to switch to the MF flask 30 seconds before Piety. If you use the Mana leech gem (which is what I use now when I rarely play) you wont be able to do this.

You're right, I now can use the unique flask 50% of the time against Piety. Sadly she sometimes simply dies way too quick (taking a full crit multiplier shot, I presume). I dropped a mana flask for it (the curse removal one) as 1 flask + lvl10 clarity can do the job usually. Takes some very bad luck a couple of times to run out of mana.

It's quite funny that the flask can't be used usually because lunaris3 champions have given me all my good drops (Kaoms, Lioneyes, 350pdps weapon, you name it). :p May I ask if Piety has given you good drops ever?

Edit: I think you should rename this the Quake build. This is the fastest and most action packed build I've witnessed, ever.

I've been introduced to this build by MyTeacherTouchesMe and I must admit it's the most fun and fast build I've played so far.

Can't clear maps with it but hopefully with release we'll have some other chaos-free areas to farm more, I'm still sub-4k of ES so I'm a bit struggling doing Lunaris but I'll eventually get some better gear.

I'm still at 81 IIQ and 128 IIR on a 5L Voll's, but I must say the Chaos started flowing due to the recipe and I'm quickly depleting Wisdoms, like never before!

I still have a somewhat low crit chance on Discharge (42,2% without charges) so I need to fire some Ice Spear every now and then and noticed that a single volley of Ice Spear-GMP-Chain-Increased Crit gives me full charges.

I'm also rolling an Enduring Cry cause my damage without the 4 End Charges is somewhat low due to lack of skill points (only lvl 76) and thus very few crit nodes.

At any rate, back to farming! :D

Not counting currency her drops have been about the same value as everything else combined for me.
I don't understand - you need this kind of gear only to farm lunaris? You can gear elemental archer that can kill mobs in lunaris as soon as he looks at them and have reasonably high MF and still be 5x cheaper then this. I mean kudos to discharger but when I invest so much I want to be able to do any map, and modifier at default.

Everyone enjoys different parts of the game. For me I like to play in Lunaris because of its pace and loot. Sure you can do maps with a different build using similiar amounts of currency and have the ability to do all mods. However, can you get crazy rich from doing maps with this build with the ability to buy top end (aka mirrored) gear for any future build? If you want to do maps that's cool. A lot of people do, but there are a lot of ways to play the game. To each their own.

Also, some math for you comparing ele ranger and discharger. I did a quick comparison assuming MF everywhere was equal except on boots.

My IIQ = 105, IIR = 250
My Total MF = 2.05 * 3.5 = 7.125

Now lets take off wondertraps because an ele ranger can't use wondertraps to full affect

IIQ = 135 (goldwyrm instead of wondertraps), IIR = 150
Total MF = 2.35 * 2.5 = 5.125

(7.125-5.875)/5.875 = .21

So a discharger has roughly 21% more MF than an ele ranger. This is assuming an ele ranger can clear just as fast which might be true. I can't imagine them clearing faster than walk up press a button and move on.

Also, I don't consider my gear to be very expensive. Obviously this is relative and an opinion. A top tier geared map build would have multiple mirrored items making it much more expensive.
