I got a question regarding the playstyle. Early on in lunaris 3 I get huge troubles because the groups are too scattered and I can't generate enough charges, therefor only hit very few monsters at once and have to regain all charges constantly, even within the same group sometimes (especially when there are bosses that I can't one shot).. later on in the cage zone I run with max charges and hit the whole screen, rinse and repeat till Piety. How to fix that?
Basically my whole run is slowed down because of the early parts of Lunaris 3, whereas the later parts I just faceroll. Crit chance: 38.2% - is that my problem? Dps fully charged 49k Hello darkness my old friend..

" You answered your own question! Ya your crit is pretty low. I'm running around 60% before power charges, which ends up around 88% after charges. My dps is quite a bit lower than yours, but honestly you don't need 50k+ dps for Lunaris 3 unless you want to flex your e-peen 1 shotting rares and uniques. I run around 30k dps and 1 shot whites and most blues, 2-3 shot yellows (2 shot if I can hit them with 2 maxed explosions), and 3-4 shot the unique (again 3 shot if I can get 3 fully charged blasts). Trade out some of that spell dmg for some crit and your clear speeds will increase imo. Critting is what the whole build is based around so max it out! |

I don't have any spell damage nodes. :p I'm only lvl80 and will finish the ES right side of the tree at 81 today. Since I really doubt it's caused by my gear (I got void battery and 104% crit chance as well as 67% spell dmg on my shield), can you post your skill tree? A 20% difference in crit chance makes me wonder where I'm going wrong.
I got this wand from my witch that I could switch in, however I'd be losing the void battery advantages and would like to avoid that. EDIT: Ah I see. Your 6L setup is different to mine. I use increased area of effect, you use increased crit strikes. That explains the difference. Hello darkness my old friend.. I haven't played in a while, but saw some people wondering if this still worked post 11.4. I had no idea if it worked or not and decided to see for myself. I ran Purity with a Blood Magic gem and Discipline off life. I could run a level 5 clarity with blood magic if I messed around with gems, but its not needed and I didn't feel like chroming gear.

Many of you may be questioning not taking the "Spell Power" node. It'll add around 10k dps for me, but it makes you more vulnerable to reflect. Cloud have you done any testing regarding the 6L setup if I may ask? I am wondering whether the increased area of effect or the increased crit strikes gem are more favourable.
Also, something else if you don't mind.. did you get to 88 by just running Lunaris? I remember the xp progress for my witch slowed down to 1-2%xp per 2 runs at 84 wheras 77 maps gave my 87 witch about 10%xp. Sure, I'd have to put on Shavs and PCoC gem for a while and get worse drops so if I could stay lunaris I wouldn't mind. Hello darkness my old friend..

" Increased Crit Strike is a must. The AOE is optional in my opinion. Yah, almost all Lunaris. 87 to 88 took 20-30 hours of play time. |

Thanks a lot! I usually die a couple of times per day (which at 82 doesn't hurt that much yet) because I can't get up charges fast enough or keep them on me so that may help a lot. By the way, does the gear MF bonus apply to kills from fire? Sometimes Piety dies to the burning damage before I can get another explosion off.
This build is amazing. The only downside to it is that all the currency I make is useless because spending it on another character would be a waste. My sporker is horribly inefficient, even if I threw another 100ex at her. The build is not broken. It's just the most efficient lunaris 3 farmer there is. I think a voltaxic LA character could at best break even, most likely with much less MF. Hello darkness my old friend.. " Sounds like you need more crit. You should prioritize crit chance over crit damage. " It would be hard because the shield is a huge chunk of ES. I tried double void batter before and it was instant death on reflect. As a side note, I've added mana leech to the 6L and its pretty good. You're right. I've since replaced increased aoe with increased crit strikes and sit at a comfortable base 55% crit chance. As far as the unique flask goes, how did you use it? My sporker could spam curses to keep up the flask but this build is more hectic and has low mana + relatively high mana cost forcing the use of flasks constantly; leaving me at full or no mana with not much in between.
