[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

I think people are overestimating the nerf to CI. Imo CI will be just as powerful as it is now, if not more so. They simply rebalanced it to account for the new (possible) Keystone that allows your Life regen to apply to your ES. This is a BIG deal as it allows another source of ES regeneration besides waiting for the cooldown and ES leech through ghost Reaver.

You can now make use of Rejuvenation Totem or vitality as a CI build, this is something you would not have been able to do before.

If they left CI in its current state and on top of that added the new keystone CI would have been over the top WAY OP. Basically, ES users get a buff and a nerf which balances out in the end.

And now you will post build with CI, Reaver and new passive, which is on other side of skill grid. Thanks.

you guys think that this build will still be good after the CI nerf?
Its funny how at every single page you can see about 3 different answers to the same question "is CI will be good as it was? Will this build still be viable to play?" However, lazy asses keep asking those questions over and over again instead of switching page and scrolling a bit... Seriously... This ain't no stone age and you aren't neanderthals either, are you? Does it freakin matter anyways? Go and create your own version of this build or maybe try something new. I've discovered far better builds than this IMO.

You're welcome.

For one Hellzer, you added nothing to the discussion either. Secondly, the only people who can attest to CI still being viable have alpha access. Everyone else has to learn the hard way in open beta if it can still work as a build.

Hard for me to take you seriously when you don't even provide a link to these better build(s) you speak of

If you want food for thought I predict shadow to be one of the most common classes at release
You won't see that many in lower difficulties, but as you go higher they will almost certainly be the most seen

The build lets you become strong early on and lets you stay strong
Almost no other guide that I've read has info on when to respec points

The OP has done his homework. . .
hi im a noob and very interested in a very similar build (LS, flicker etc.)

one of the concerns is the CI-nerf, if its incoming. if the nerf would have a big negative impact on this build, wouldnt it be more viable to go for the exact same skills, but with duelist hp-based?

Thanks for all the attention shown to this build guys, I've received a number of PMs regarding this.

As of now I won't be saying anything yet regarding tbis build so as not to spoil any of the surprises for you guys, but rest assured that I will be updating this build on OB day and I will also be providing a HP-based alternative for the Crit Dagger Shadow concept as well so stay tuned!

Just 3 more days! Hope you're as excited as I am!

Invelasco,

Can you also make a Dual-wielding (daggers) alternative for this build? You know, assassin with a shield... Doesn't look right. Assassin with 2 daggers? Now we are talking.
Great build mate will definitely use this on obt.
