[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]
In the past few pages I've seen some people talk about the 44% Increased ES behind CI...
...That's Wrong! -It's 24% Increased and then 20% MORE ES... (The 20% more is a multiplier of 1.2 after the rest of your ES is calculated) ---Take that into consideration that when switching to CI(You could pull it off earlier). |

So... last night I rolled an ambusher that I think is pretty nice for my crit dagger shadow.
Its got 3 prefixes and 1 suffix, so if I exalt it twice I have a decent shot at attack speed as well. What do you guys think, should I exalt or wait for something with a bit higher phys roll first? Last edited by jaguar55#6561 on Apr 11, 2013, 10:14:57 AM

So when i started reading this guide (i m now level 77) the guide suggested an accuracy mask or circlet. Now i guess the BiS helm is alpha howl but i will lose a lot of % chance to hit as my mask is a EV/ES with 274 accuracy. So i guess we replace dream fragments with an accuracy ring?or play with around 70% chance to hit.Chance to hit counts the mobs at ur level right? So its iconical and actually chance to hit mobs in maps 66-70 is higher right?

Is this build viable as a first character or would it be better if I played a different build? I am level 53 right now but kinda struggling at act 3.
Is it possible to play this as a first character without going crazy or should I just respect and try something easier to farm? Thanks IGN: Rizisi

" This build was my first character, I had difficult moments around lvl 50 when I was between Ci and life gear, but I made it in the end (playing sc, not recommended for 1st hc char). And when i did it they hadn't added the special multiplicatif ES nod after CI on the skill tree. Of course it's hard to get some of the gear but I like having tough gear to get, means you always have something to aim for. Definetly don't regret it. Also, I found it was a good build to learn the mechanics of the game because you're depending on all the different defensive stats to survive, doing a lot of crit you learn how to use status ailments, you do melee as well as ranged, physical and elemental dmg are important with the build etc. The char is interesting because it uses a wide range of the game's mechanics (Invalesco is good at that). Sure it's probably not the most straight forward build but it's fun to play once you have it on track. Who wants to play a straight forward build anyway? " Gut it out you are around the levels that are toughest to play. You are right, stuck between no life and no ES, and starting to run into chaos monsters. The biggest thing is that once past the low 60s, you can start getting more ES gear. Can't wear Vaal Regalia until 68, but if you can find another 400-500 ES armor to wear until you get a good Vaal Regalia, that will help alot. Same with other gear, most high ES gear is available around 62ish. If you cant afford the gear and need to farm more this is what I do...level'd 2 CI characters (shadow / witch). I run Fellshire runs until low 60s, right about where you are. Then right after a level up, so you have no EXP....run through quests until you can get the Docks WP from someone. Perhaps you can just get it from a friend. Between Fellshire and Docks is when you run into chaos monsters, and I just run through the busts and bandits (dieing alot) and then get Docks WP to level there since there are no chaos monsters in docks. Can level in docks until ready to get CI and lots of ES gear and take on maps. EDit: i got some quests mixed up here lol...but you get the idea, get to docks through just dieing over and over till u get there then lvl up in docks IGN: Cimos_Baller Last edited by Cimos21#2531 on Apr 11, 2013, 5:56:36 PM
