[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Hey all. I have a couple Q. Im lvl 58 and stuck... I do decent dmg but doesnt seem up to par. I havent done CI yet due to my gear. Been doing ledge runs to get lvled but other then that i have alot of trouble. Any advice?

Quite simply, get some ES gear together so you can go CI. Without CI you're not able to use both melee damage and melee damage on full life supports (assuming you have gear worth 4 linking) which will give you a nice boost in damage. It will also let you use bloodrage and you'll get a dps boost from the frenzy charges as well.

Guys, im wondering....Is it worth using LStrike in a 5/6link or should I be using it in boots/gloves or something like that, and use double strike in my chest for more single target dps?(Not sure how much that extra 1/2 links will help lstrike)

Also another thought, just buy an insane chest with no sockets/links make it a 4link, and put one of my 4links into there and just run off of 4links untill I can buy an insane 6link?

97.2% of map mobs dont require single target dps so i would use 5/6L for LS.

How does lighting damage scale on weapons? If weapon has has lighting damage, it would be same thing as having same amount of lighting dmg on ring for example? So if i want to buy budget dagger i should just be focusing on the phys dmg and not pay extra for ele dmg?

Hi just wanted ask do you guys use some life leech amu or so. or just warlords mark to heal ES? also what about vaal pact, looks like i need 9pts to get it, is it good for ES heal?

Blood Rage also gives us life leech, if I remember correctly it even gets buffed from Inner Force. And yes, Vaal Pact is needed, as otherwise the amount of leech you can get per hit is limited (don't have the exact numbers right now, but thats what it was I think)

Ahh thanks for info forgot about bloodrage cause im 53 not CI yet got 2200ES without the +44% behind CI so thinkin to switch soon. also thinking what to pick now on low lvl, Inner Force or Vaal Pact, cause one of it i want pick and the other one endgame at 75+

So prolly Vaal Pact first? i dont see me run alot auras got so low mana.. :)

hey invalesco, i wanted to ask you about the passive skill tree.from level 48 you have the health % passives , and when it's going to CI phase,the health passives disappear do i have to reset my stats to do it properly or there's some point in the game where you'll have your passive skills reset?I'm still low level and inexperienced and i want to be sure of the skills i am going to put in as i play, i won't be playing my shadow until i have your confirmation.Please respond as soon as you can. And I'm sorry if this message is long. You other guys who might be reading this may answer as well as i want to know the answer as quickly as possible

No, no, no! D: Like Invalesco said earlier, always go IF first. IF just makes your Shadow better in all areas. Whatever aura you use get better, more leech from Bloodrage, granites give more armor, it's just an awesome, OP passive.

Vaal Pact all it does is remove the 20% max ES per second leech cap. Most people don't hit the cap until they start getting crazy gear from maps. Also, chances are you wouldn't even notice if you got Vaal Pact, because imo the skill is only good against reflect really.'

Without it phys reflect mobs tear me a new one, but it's at least bearable with VP.

Like someone in this thread before, don't worry about Vaal Pact till you get crazy DPS and are starting to own yourself on reflect. Always, always go IF first.

EDIT: Btw, on my tree, I went straight from IF to VP in like 5 points, how come you think you have to wait that long to get both? You can get them one right after the other.

Yesh it's cause when you spec to CI you don't need health nodes anymore, but you do need them earlygame to survive to the point where you can take CI. As you progress you eventually get like 20 or so free respec points total from all the quests, just make sure not to waste them until you're ready to spec to CI and you should be golden.
