[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Does % Spell damage work with this build? I'm finding boots that have Spell dmg on them and was curious if they affect LS at all.

Nope, Lightning Strike is Phys damage on your weapon, converted to Lightning...and you also get he flat damage from Jewellry and Gloves.

...It's still a melee attack, and not a spell.

Leveling without good gear is indeed very hard, but i can't wait to see if this build is good later on. Have some 60-66 gear but not that much.

Well shit.....Easy mode activated.

Gimme some tips what to upgrade first;

Getting 75 all resists without purity is IMPOSSIBLE unless you are spending 100 exalteds on tri resists chest(also 5l and good amount of es!) / helm. Sin treks are awful, 0 resists. Atm i've about 20-40% all res without purity (forced to use it). And do i really have to buy a dagger that costs 80 exalteds to do decent damage? Atm i've 5.5k dps on DS and 3.2k on LS, DS does good single target dps but LS does absolutely nothing, unless i get 3-5 crits in a row i have to spend 20 secs on one pack on docks \o/ Also, keeping mana up is nearly impossible without the 80 exalted dagger if you are running more then one aura.

E2: also, wtf is wrong with ES gear drops. I've gotten about 2 billion chests with 2k armor/eva + resists and 0 good ES chests, my current chest is only decent ES chest i've found

Thinking of starting a shadow with flicker strike with my multistrike gem. Will use blood rage with that.

The only point i was afraid of, is that how will I keep a good amount of mana with spamming Flicker all the way...

I think i will HAVE to run clarity, and add an mana leech gem, preferably with a good quality on it... do you think it will be enough ???

first day of new patch, it seems that lightning strike + multistrike + power charges on crit is working very good, also having it on flicker is alot of fun but im not sure if its better than a melee phys dmg. Any1 tried how splash dmg + multi + double strike works on a 6L?

Resists need to be your FIRST priority above damage, even above ES. This is my gear atm:



You'll notice that I have way less ES than you do, but I'm soloing maps up to level 71 atm, and you're still having trouble with docks :/ I will say the weapon helps a lot, since more DPS mean you aren't taking as many hits, but nothing will help more than 75% all resist does.

Literally it is a night and day difference. Drop some ES if you need to to get them all capped, maybe try and stay above 3.5k ES. I'm only at 3.7k and having no problems at all. I'm pretty sure none of my pieces are worth more than 1 Exalt, except maybe the Dream Fragments; and that piece is completely optional.

Also, I have no idea why you have mana problems. I have 2% Mana Leech just like you, and with a 4L LS my mana is completely fine. Maybe try getting 4% Mana Leech?

A decent physical dmg dagger and mana drinker node might be fine, imo.
Havent got a chance to try it out since MS gem is so expensive atm : (
I onced linked like this: FS-dmg on full life-increase crit chance-increase crit dmg-melee physical dmg. At that time I was running grace, hatred, wrath and discipline with only 160 mana after reservation, didnt feel any uncomfortable spamming FS: )
Since we have rinbow strider(+100mana!) to take sin trek's place now, I think it will be fine: )
While...even with 5L FS was a bad choice..good to see everybody saying that MS works well with FS, finally we get a chance to kiss LS goodbye: )
