@Shrine, it's a map of the 'cages' area of Lunaris 3 with Piety's chamber and all.
She's down below doing her Crematorium/Temple thing before porting up and doing her Lunaris thing AND her Crem/Temple thing.

Exactly why i hate SC... I killed piety but died 50 times! yeah great.... nice achievement!

I killed piety HC Merciless countless times and died ZERO times. Still mapping with my 80+ char and still died 0 times.

Exactly why I personally dislike HC play... I killed Piety but could only attempt to do so when I was over geared and over levelled in a sure spec. Ready to leave the game just in case.



Different strokes for different folks, some like challenge and know taking on such challenge and not leaving the game in HC would put them in Standard any way. Some put challenge second to remaining in a league which they picked knowing fine well the consequences and limitations it would put on their game play and thinking nothing of leaving the game more times on average than a Standard league player dies.

OP proved he can beat SC Merciless with a small amount of HP and no Kaom's Heart.
I did that too. with a melee character, a bit more HP than he has, and no Kaom's Heart (because I never will be able to drop or afford one).

you don't think it takes serious skill?

show me one HC player brave enough to play melee. show me one HC player stupid enough to not go "path of HP" if he does.
heck, my HC Templar is ranged and I still stack HP like crazy.
it's my way of being a coward, instead of going Alt+F4 in the face of serious danger. think about it.

Kaom's Heart is a symbol.
an icon of all that is currently broken in Path Of Exile Beta.
well, not all. most.
and HC only takes what is a problem on SC, and amplifies it tenfold.
