1700 life is enough to finish merciless [ You can do pretty well without Kaom's Heart ] ( UPDATED )

Update 4 : I tried Crematorium map given by the generous Xilah ( Number 2 in the standard ladder ), i managed to kill all monsters except The boss predictably, The most insane challenge i ever done in PoE.
End of my challenges before 11.0

Update 3 : I killed piety lvl 71, next challenge Piety level 75 ( crematorium ) before the new balance maybe.

Update 2 : since i aquired that unique shield which gives +5 mas ele resist it seems that higher level maps are possible with my 1700 life, i will push as high as possible ans see what happens.

Update : Page 8. Almost killed piety level 71 with crappy gear and 2000 life.
I could nulify all the damages taken in this game except cold and lightning ( i did nulify their satus though ). Let's see how the new ladders and balances would change the game.

Hi.

title : i think that any noob can finish merciless without kaom's heart.

I just wanted to show you poe community how it is possible to reach level 80 ( i guess, cuz i did not reach it yet ) with a life pool of 1736.

By running Lunaris you can get decent exp, the last time i got like : 14% exp and a unique per 2 runs, so yeah it's close to D2 runs, thanks to the last patch that raised monster level area of lunaris.

So what do you need ? Max elemnetal resists and high reduced damage taken.

the first one is me with only 6 max endurance charges( 1 kaom's sign equiped ).



Then i equiped this :
and life went from 1651 to 1736, the max number to 7 max endurance charges ( usually i run with 6 ).



as you can see, "firegun nice girls" do nothing to me duo to my arctic armour, beautiful whiping girls" can curse me but i disable their attacks with the support gem : BLIND.

I forgot to reactivate Arctic armour at some moment ( cuz my mana regen was lowered without the mana regen ring i had before equiping kaoms sign, and low mana regan = AA disactivate )


When i am in trouble i can convert those 7 endurance charges to Immortality ( IMMORTAL CALL ), but i did not get big troubles..

I was very lucky, many fire portals in the ground (everyone dislike ice form portals even a noob with < 1800 life do : o ):

As you can see i did not even bother to have a second hallowed flask..
So what could we say ?

You don't need a kaom's heart to reach level 80.

You can do pretty well without following the path of life nodes..

I hope you enjoyed my little story, and yeah the pro players could do it with even less life i think, but many players think that life is the only thing important in this game and i wanted to show them that it is not.

1700 life in lunaris 3 without maxed artic armor is suicide

i get hit for 3-4k sometimes from titty bitches

I finished merciless Piety at lvl 63 plying melee with 1600 hp total and this armour
So yes, it is difficult but doable. I did die 2 times in Lunaris 3.

Yup, and if you're talented you can do it with even less.

Nice! I knew many players were playing god without 3-4K life. I died 0 times.. on this run. But i can die easily if i am not focused.

i found myself not even using Granit with these endurance charges.. but i spam it when needed :)

ANYWAY, this thread is for players who think only life can make you beat the game.. i just wanted to show how it is not.. i am pretty sure i would need more life for high level maps.

Right! You do not need Kaom's Heart, but you need kaom's sign :))))
