Yeah, there were some deaths along the way for sure, and I've stopped leveling that character until I get my hands on a Lioneye's and some other stuff I want for it, but still, it's not like Lunaris 3 or Piety II were unbeatable or impossible as long as you're patient, careful, and somewhat skilled at avoiding projectiles.

So, yes, 1700 life is enough to finish Merciless, if you're being careful.

You'd be dead before you got near 3 shocks with 1.7k.

The damage I took at 85 resists with no enfeeble = taking 15% and would have one shotted you.

You could, lvl your purity/take inner force (whichever you are missing) to raise your 83 to 85.
Then use Saffron's shield for +5 = 90.

Then use Topaz to give you 100%, to get an enfeeble on her. Better if you have passive for 'curses never drop'.
Even then, a gap in your flasks will put you on 90% and 1.7k will still not be enough to survive a couple of her lightning spikes, even enfeebled.

In other words, I guess the only way is to NEVER have a drop from topaz flask.
