In favor of a change to loot. I avoided grouping for the past few weeks due to having watched Kripp's stream and seeing how it works and while they are sharing the loot, it wouldn't be so in a public group party. Items can drop off screen with your name on them and you aren't even aware of it and not to mention I really don't feel like this system encourages people to kill first and loot second, so it encourages people to slack off and just wait for loot drops.

I feel like a choice of how a loot system will work in a given party would be an ideal option, because similarly minded players could join up, and this would create more of a team work dynamic and people would not need to instantly drop combat and loot or get nothing.

It is not yours until you pick it up. He'll, I don't even ninja. But, I know that just because its allocated to me for a few seconds, I realize that timer is how long it has the potential to be mine.

No loot options please GGG.

Also, make a party with the title, your name your loot, anyone who disobeys your rules you can kick. Or, start a guild/clan for instanced preferred players. You already have options.

So party options are out of the question but its ok to enforce your own party rules by kicking people......

Does anyone else think that this is weird?

your really not that stupid are you? cause its common sense to know people dont care about you and will just take what they want if given the chance. but sure ggg keep the loot as is and just make this a single player game. no problem
Not true at all.

Some will. Some won't.

Edit: if you find someone that plays like you, friend them.

The only way that this would be possible is if you know who is taking what is not theirs. If loot options are not added to the game please include a loot log so players can enforce loot rules.

Most people ive partied with are looting dickheads. Most just stop mid combat and go sit over YOUR timed item. then dont even attack for 1 or so secs while they wait for the timer to go down.

Oh and this is after i have left them most drops because i only want to grab what i need.

I try to put share the loot in my partt name somewhere. or something like loot by name.

But i do meet the good ones now n then. Take the good with the bad. Usually i just type "...cmon" then then carry on with what we were doing. Cause usually with a 400ping con anyone can nin ja my loots when the timer is still up...

Which is "working as intended"

There are dickheads in life. There are dickheads in Wraeclast.

There is theft in life. There are thieves in Wraeclest. They should introduce random stash theft that can happen any time a player is not logged in or not standing by their stash.

Do you see why your logic sucks as justification for a gameplay mechanic?

lol
Theft

noun 1. the act of stealing; the wrongful taking and carrying away of the personal goods or property of another; larceny

Meaning, for something to be stolen, you must own it. I own what's in my stash. You don't own the item on the ground.

Try again.

Edit. Own being used in terms of possession. Since GGG owns all and can do as they please.

You should take up the crusade of explaining that to every person who plays this game since there are soooo many players who feel like the item that has their name on it should belong to them if they are right there to grab it.

By the way if you don't own the item on the ground then what gives you the right to boot people out of your game for playing the game the correct way? Really odd system this game has. Everyone's like "your supposed to play competitively!" and then they say "Well you can boot people out of your game if they take your items!"
Standard Forever
You answered your own question.

You can boot ppl out of YOUR game (party). This is allowed by GGG. Thus, this is following the rules in game.
