[1.0.5] Lightning Strike Staff Crit Templar Build - 17k+ DPS - Dual Curse

Would be nice with a v1.0.0 update ;)

Eh idk, I respec'ed and now I feel like just making a new char. I don't have a staff anymore or a kaom's but my skill tree is similar. Im using a 1h + shield and a 6L Saintly chainmail, but before I could run 6 auras + tempest shield all on my mana, and now I can only do 2 + tempest shield.

here is my new tree at lvl 81



my dps is about 29k using only hatred, res is capped, and my life is about 3800 because i got rid of kaoms and haven't fixed my gear enough yet.

idk though it just doesnt seem as good, and not being able to run even close to as mana auras kind of seems like it defeats the purpose of my previous setup and my current gear.

i got no choice but to roll with it now, or else work on a new char so i'll see how it goes, but im kind of dissapointed right now

Well you can choose what auras you will use, i would use Determination, Clarity and Wrath/Anger/Hatred if its possible to run 3 auras,if only 2 then Determination + Clarity/W/A/H depends what you need, so now you dont need passive skill Eldritch Battery and you can focus your equip to pure defense instead of def+energy.

EDIT: yes,its still better with shield

Yeah a 1.0.0 patch would be nice. The 60-100 points are the same at the moment.

Also what other skill gem should be used other than lighting strike?

How do auras work also? I tried to run Determination and Wrath at the same time and couldn't. Does it take up 60% of your total mana and then what?

well now i run determination with clarity, so i dont know if i should spend points into mana reduced in tree for running 3 auras,but its too many points so i guess i will play just with 2 auras and 2 curses and ill start focus my build to +resistances and +%max HP.
BTW what skills will you use when now u can run 2 auras instead of 5-6?

im thnking im gonna run down now and pick up as many life and +all res nodes i can down in the maruader tree. other then that i dont see to many hp nodes close to my current path

how important are those +40 hp from oak ? i messed it up on normal and took the 1 passive point instead. now i feel bad :/
