Dragon's Immortal Tank (Updated for 1.2)
Hi, very good build and guide.
I have a one question - how did you get 7,52 attacks per second ? Greetings |

" base weapon speed x more speed increase from multistrike x all other increases for example a 1.80 soul taker 200% from multstrike (100% more) and 100% ias from faster attacks, passives, rings, gloves 1.8 x 2 x 2 = 7.2 aps (when you dual wield you average both weapons' speeds to get the base speed and do a further x 1.10 in the end - because dw gives a 10% multiplicative speed bonus) Last edited by ancalagon3000#6581 on Aug 5, 2013, 6:41:48 AM

ok, i try to calculate this again.
Why you take 1.8 x 2 ? - two weapons ?? I try to get that AS with one weapon and shield. Last edited by arturtop#3365 on Aug 5, 2013, 8:32:02 AM

" Hey, no problem man I take you step by step (1) Base weapon speed - for one hand and shield, its obviously the only weapon speed you got - so lets say a 1.80 aps on the soul taker axe. The attack speed increase *on the weapon* is already counted towards this. To get your overall weapon speed - if you have for example a siege axe with base speed of 1.50 aps and it has a 12% increased attack speed bonus, that is 1.5 x 1.12 = 1.68 aps You can look up base weapon speeds on the wiki, for example for axes from here http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Axe If you care about dual wielding - you can get the true average base speed by adding both and dividing by half. So a 1.2 weapon and a 1.4 weapon is average of 1.30 (1.2 + 1.4 = 2.6 / 2 = 1.3). Alternatively, you can calculate mainhand and offhand speeds separately by using both bases. (2) All *increased* attack speed modifiers on gear, support gems, passives, frenzy charges and skills (haste aura included). So for example 35% from passives, 15% from 3 frenzy charges, 15% on gear (NOT from weapon) = 65% increased attack speed. (3) All *more* increased attack speed is multiplicative with the above. Currently, the only we know of is from multistrike. (Besides number 4 below) For example, level 13 is 100% more attack speed. (4) This is only for dual wielding. Dual wielding gives a 10% more attack speed bonus (overall to both weapons). So with a 1hand and shield and a 1.8 aps soul taker (or other weapon, you can get 2+ aps rares), level 13 multistrike and 65% ias we get:- 1.8 x 2 x 1.65 = 5.94 aps You get more aps by getting a higher aps soul taker, more increased attack speed and a higher level multistrike gem. " NICE ONE! How many chances did it take you? Last edited by ancalagon3000#6581 on Aug 5, 2013, 5:57:19 PM

" I'm using: Getting new armor at some point of this month propably, it's going to be 2x Green, 4x Red, going to try out how does Frenzy / Double Strike work with this. Well i've used those quite much already, but haven't been able to use Faster Attacks with either one of them. Stacked too much lightning resistance currently and the new chest is cold+fire, so i'm getting also 2 "free" passive skills, because currently fire resistance is not capped on ele weakness maps, even i have 12% allres and 10% allres when using shield passives taken, so i'm propably going to toy around with regrets, depending on the map, like respeccing against Vaal i'm going to take 3 enducharge nodes to get 13 sec Immortal Call, against Magaera respeccing pair of points to get Unwavering stance, and need to test that 12% radius node with Frenzy / Double Strike with new chest :) Last edited by Juhazzz#5503 on Aug 6, 2013, 4:14:48 AM
