Hey guys, building this on HC currently. Whilst I try to get the Unique Shield what stats should I look for?
High block? High Armour? High HP. what level can this build function too without it? would picking up extra endurance charges be useful up until I got it? then remove them when I did. I tried getting one yesterday so I could have it when I hit the right level guy would only sell it for 10 Exalts which looking on the forums seems crazy high. Thanks |

" Oh now that is just mean :P " Not especially. Just follow the same principles. Keep your resists high and get hp and regen nodes asap. " Thanks for helpin out :D " Believe it or not, I used this until I was level 70 and could afford my aegis aurora. This shield should not be underestimated. IMHO, it is the best shield to use until you get AA. Feel free to use others, but this shield is cheap and VERY good for the build. Cheers guys! Lovin all the support :) Check out the new vid if you haven't already. I think it turned out so cool. -Dragon DISCLAIMER! " Thanks guess I didn't read through carefully enough. I do have one train of thought that I need to throw out there for people to shoot down. With Unwavering: 75% block chance no block recovery or take damage and no stun recovery time. With Blind: 76.25% chance to evade, no stun recovery needed. Then, 75% chance to block with a block recovery check. Then take damage with a stun recovery chance. It just seems to me that either way you have a 75%+ chance to all out avoid damage with no stun, but with Unwavering you are just taking the damage on the 1/4 shot. Whereas with the blind you have an additional chance not to be hit with the downside that a stun recovery check must be made. So take Kole for example, say he managers to bypass your first 75% miss chance. Would you rather then take the damage or have another 75% miss chance then rolled at a cost of a stun recovery check or even a 0.35 second stun? It would seem to me that if he only has a 5.9ish% chance to bypass evade and block, getting stunned isn't much of an issue. Thoughts? |

Damn that new 70-74 boss video is nice
trying ur build on my lvl 74 in HC now, its alot of fun, but i almost died to reflect when a big pack died ( had about 100 hp left) that was really scary. It works well even without the unique ammy and without the unique shield, i need the stats on my current ammy for my gems. Looking forward to having all the gear Big thanks for the guide and the build, you've done a great job I hate the lab

Hey dragon just wanted to come back on the daresso I was talking about yesterday. The price turns arround 1-2 gcp depending on roll. Got mine for 3 chaos 31% block chance and ~17% all resists. I think it is a good alternative to parandus while saving up for aegis aurora.

" I actually didn't level my mara using this build. At the time, MS and splash weren't in the game. I leveled as groundslam, but I did level my OS mara using this build. I would say, when you can outregen your attack cost, then swap to BM gem. To test this, stand outside with no monsters around hold down your IB with BM linked to it. If your hp/regen is keeping your life full, then your good to go. If you life begins to drain, I would keep mana leech. DISCLAIMER!
