Where did you get so much dps without taking practicaly any nods for dmg?

" Its not particularly high dps to be honest, and to answer its mostly the power of a 6 link and soul taker (you would lose a dps gem for bm) and 2 of them gems being more multipliers to damage. Oh and high attack speed. |

" Yes, I've seen shadows with 120k dps (but hey, whats the point of falling to the mobs with the same speed as you kill them? Moreover mobs have hp limit and and +-20 or 30k dps won't make any difference), but i'm just surprised that it's possible to have near 20k dps without taking large dmg nodes. " Yes they will provide a substantial DPS increase. I would guess ~5K dps increase for adding either a soul taker or 6L. That's how the build reaches ~20K dps with an extremely low number of damage passives being allocated when you have both a soul taker and a 6L chest. 5l and soul taker =4 link basically, since you swap out for blood magic
your 4 link will then be infernal - strike - splash - mpd (bm is the 5th link but its like you have a 4link dps) so yeah you lose more dps cuz with 5 link / 6 link you can add fa / wed or added fire (or ll if need) Last edited by mvm199#0755 on Sep 24, 2013, 6:18:31 PM

I haven't played my tank in around 3-4 weeks and yesterday I decided to come back to it for some map achievements. I put my auras in order, losing 2 out of 8, put on the newly found Rainbowstrides and gave it a go.
Boy, was that fun! I don't have the Aegis Aurora yet (also no Soultaker, obviously), so my DPS sucks and my HP is constantly jumping up and down, but jumping into the middle of 10+ mobs while firing a granite, spamming my attack button and see the successive waves of mobs explode in an orderly fasion as they approach me - THIS IS FUN! I died to an exile on a Sewer map with Vulnerability because I tried to swap to my culling MF weapon while being on very low life, greedy me :) I can't wait to start building this char again in the new league. In Anarchy it was my first char and so it would have been close to impossible to gear it with my sucky MF, if not for some friends' help. I am considering building an MF summoner first in the new league (or whatever viable MF build is going to be out there) to collect gear and currency for Mr. Big :) EDIT: After I put on my Rainbowstride my maximum Mana became 666... Hey Bro, n1 Guide, but i have one question. What Build do you use atm? You have different in your Guide with marginal deviations. One with and one without Unwavering Stance, more and less ES.
It would be n1, if you link your actually Build. Thanks :) |

" He rarely logs in, but I know he uses the infernal blow variant, unless he very recently switched to double strike or something else with soul taker its IB - mstrike - splash - mpd - WED - FA or added fire without it its blood magic instead of FA/added fire and if you want life leech instead of WED (mpd gives more dps overall) double strike doesnt really need multistrike, and ends up with more damage per hit, although you could leave it in if you are a speed freak There is a section with 'the gear', 'the stats', and also his current / endgame trees. |

Yes i know, but he has 2 different builds. And in his FAQ he wrote, that he use Unwavering Stance.
The one build is max block with Unwavering Stance and the other with Soul Taker and without Unwavering Stance. So my Question what is now the better build? |
