chest i know now
rings?
gloves?
boots? are rainbowstrides the best?
helmets?
belts?

Very nice, but I would prefer a chest over 1k armor more than high ES. The more I play, the more I come to realize that you really want 1 block to fill your ES bar completely before you start to concern yourself with more ES.

But that is still a ridiculously nice chest.

life, armor / evasion, resists, str, (WED on belt is nice too), then luxury mods str ias x-x physical and life leech on jewelry is nice bonus(x-x ele on jewelry if you are going more ele oriented than physical). Chaos res is very important also if you can afford on top of the other mods. If you have some int missing for gems make sure to get it too. Dex from tree should be enough.

rainbowstrides are probably BIS vs megaera / piety with crazy mods, the extra spell block from 4x to 6x% goes a long way. But otherwise you can use life / res / ms rares for boots

evasion will be converted to armor of course with IR :) I meant to say armor or evasion, sorry

and ES, yeah some people prefer it on chest or helm, some dont. If you can get 1k+ without either, I would say its enough (dont think you can tho, even with discipline and lots of %shield defense nodes, so es / armor chest is the best way to go)

yes unfortunately without soul taker you will lose a dps gem

priority is IB - splash - multistrike - BM
5 link with MPD (more dps than WED)
6 link FA or life leech or lgoh

with soul taker replace BM with added fire / wed
