Did a twinned residence. Twinned on that map can be dangerous, but only if you rush in. The boss's normal shot does about 1-2k damage with decent armor. Staying in melee range isn't an awful idea, as they will occasionally do their slow, piss-poor melee attack. The real problem is the etherial knives cast, which is just completely insane. We're talking 4-5k burst damage with decent chaos res. Try to keep them away from each other. There are enough walls and their AI is a little odd so this is feasible.

Did it. The mobs there out-damaged my friend who was running Vaal Pact facebreakers with 18% leech. This dude just straight-up facetanks Harbinger, and this map splatted him. I died twice, and altf4'd the third time. Got my map back and then some, but DAMN. Stasis and extra damage AND running in full MF gear was a bad idea.

Actually I have a very simple questions: Apart from XP, why is it benefitial do to maps instead of just farming piety? Can someone elaborate on that? New to PoE, serious question!

Variety, fun and loot.
First two are personal but loot can be divided into 2 sections: - Map only uniques: Voltaxic Rift: 78 Void Battery: 77 Thunderfist: 76 Mon'tregul's Grasp: 75 Rathpith Globe: 74 Devoto's Devotion: 74 Lioneye's Remorse: 73 Ming's Heart: 73 Auxium: 72 Andvarius: 71 Lioneye's Glare: 71 Divinarius: 71 - Crafting base as you can't drop ilvl >70 outside maps and lots of prefix suffix need more than that so if you want to craft the best you need a white base coming from a map. |
