Whats wrong with this picture guys? Inventory Space in PoE issue.

I tell you what is wrong. I watched Diablo 3 videos and noticed that in Diablo 3 each one of these bows would occupy just 2 slots, instead of 8. Making it so the inventory is in practice 4 times bigger for these type of items.




GRIMDAWN INVENTORY HAS 96 SLOTS.

BESIDES, THEY HAVE PANTS! AND MORE.

Now look at the Diablo 3 Inventory



MUCH MORE STUFF THAN PATH OF EXILE.

In D3, inventory space is never an issue. People actually run around with spare MF gear to exchange in mid fight and have enough space to pickup the loot from bosses, champions and chests and there is always space left.

Right now, the inventory space in Path of Exile is an issue, detrimental to my experience.

THE INVENTORY SPACE IN PATH OF EXILE SUCKS BIG TIME.

There is no design reason to justify the inventory space being so limited at this time and age.

This isn't Diablo 3.
Ever played Diablo 2?

Why would a long bow take the same amount of space as a dagger? That's the case in D3 and WoW. I'm happy with the inventory system as it is.

I agree with Phoenix360. This means you have to make decisions regarding what you pick up. Anyways, they have portal scrolls and waypoints so you can always head back to town to sell things and just double back for other items.

PoE != D3

Different games different inventory systems.

However. Some items take more room than they probably should. For example, a 2 handed long sword, takes 4x2 when it can take 5x1 or 4x1.
Not enouhg variety in the sizes :P

They want you to actually consider which items to pick up and which to ignore, they have said it time and time again. Also if its really an issue just pop back to town it takes very little time to off load, yes I know it messes with the flow of combat but cant have everything. The only thing I would like changed about the Inventory is the ability to rotate items to fit better, but to me that's a minor issue.

You do realise, that 4x2 is actually an advantage of the sword, since it can has 6 (linked if i'm not mistaken) slots (only 2 handed weapons, the huge strenght shields and body armor can have 6L IIRC (but please correct me if i'm wrong))

but really....you cant truly be finding as much stuff to overload your inventory as you claim. I am constantly running low on wisdom scrolls by identifying the loads of gear i find...keep in mind i pick up nearly every wisdom scroll i see too.
