I have few questions:

1) Should you run all 4 auras together?

2) What level of clarity is optimal?

3) Should you take inner force?

Inner force will grant:
- more mana regen (may let you keep lower level of clarity -> more mana left)
- more ES
- more max resist (lower RF damage)
- more hp regen from vitality
- more dmg bonus from RF

But also it will increase RF burning damage and cost you 4 skillpoints.

Yes you run all 4 auras together typically. 2 on HP using blood magic to hit Low Life and 2 on Mana.

Inner Force no longer increase the max resist on Purity after path 0.11.0.
The HP regen gain from IF is .27% for a lev 20 Vitality which is negligible.
Increase mana regen really isn't an issue either, although you may be able to run Haste if you can use a low enough level clarity.
IF gives ~60 extra base Energy Shield from Discipline. That may or may not be important for you. Isn't to me.

Also keep in mind that Inner Force increases the damage you take from RF to 118% of your HP per second. This makes it even harder to his the regen/ES shield breakpoint for maintaining perma-RF.
PM me or find me in game if I win. It's hard to keep track of all my bids.

Also: I noticed on the spreadsheet the theplash that it's missing the calculation from bonus life.

Where do you mean exactly? I tried both gear and passives Life and Life % input fields, Character Level and Strength and they seem to be working. Afaik there's nothing else that should impact total life, right?

Bonus Life doesn't change anything. I did get a weird error when I downloaded and opened the sheet but everything else works.
Even if I put 80000 in bonus life not 1 variable changes. That should effect RF.
Great work though man. thanks for this

That's weird, maybe there's something excel does not like (better: that google can't translate correctly in excel format). If you change those values directly in Google Docs everything gets calculated just fine.

If you say that everything else works, then there's something specific to that field, could be conditional formatting maybe, i'll try to find myself an excel installation to test.

Thanks ;)

Bye!

Don't forget that Inner Force increases the "more spell damage" buff from Righteous Fire, which is why everyone was taking those nodes in the first place.

For a lvl 20 RF, it's around 15-16% more spell damage (half the worth of PA). It's still in debate if you can spend those 4+ points anywhere else to gain better benefits (more ES if not more DPS)

Bye

You should level red gems until you can maintain rf without springleaf/the unique fire shield.

Green gems should be leveled to at least level 20 fork. More if you plan to run a higher level haste.

1. Aim for at least Vit, Discipline, Purity, Clarity, Righteous Fury. Haste and Grace if can support them
2. That will vary depending on your life and mana pool
3. Yes. Yes and Yes. Inner Force gives me about 600 more dps divided by 4 means 150 dps per point spent. On average I get 75 dps per passive so inner force is very efficient as a dps mod in addition to more resist/haste/es etc. If you are just starting and cant sustan rf with inner force but can without it then dont get inner force for now but it needs to be in your end game build.

Do you think you could link your gear? I'm curious how you attain that much DPS from IF.
