With the recent spate of rather...hefty posts, Scrotes, I think it might be you who needs the stream...
I've been stay-at-home parenting three kids, newborn to five. Distractions are frequent; yet can sit with laptop in front of me virtually all day. I think I'll stick with hefty posts.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Please guys stop the scrub talk... A win is a win... you can say whatever you want but a good player will use every thing he can to win... playing a slower class don't make you best at races.
Play to Win do your best that's the essence of victory.
Good read about Play to win here.

There is only the problem that games as a form of expression is limited by external design, your truest potential is found where you can use your will in ways that were not thought of by someone else for you.
You need a central pillar in your life that you have full control over, to lean on. You need you. It is the source of your confidence and you need to be in control there.
In other words, playing to win for self-improvement is not a free form of growth, so long as you remain only a gamer.
Victory is best when won against the odds, thats the truth.
Weak men like to go for the easy win, but they will never taste a true victory that comes from winning fights out of necessity, and not by seeking to prove something to yourself.
There are many paths to walk in this world, which will you chose?
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

:) Now I REALLY want to see the ScrotieMcB stream of PoE First Grade League commentary, complete with rugrats climbing all over you.
I'll even sponsor it!
Scrotie McB's Weekly PoE Wrap-Up, brought to you by The Charan Financial Group.

You have kids and you are still childish enough to make a ball-sucking thread, I'm disappointed.

Easy win? if it's easy why aren't you in the 1st place??
did you ever heard about sports and Olympics? lowers don't have place there only the best compete a only the best ein.
Glad to see Kripp get some respect. I've been a fan of his stream ever since he started doing em, and have been subbed to his Youtube account for a long time. He always seems like a nice, laid back guy, and conveys information in an easy to understand manner without coming off all "Srs bizness powergamer". It's also a HUGE fad to hate on him hardcore; in many places you cannot even mention his name without having 3 million insults slung your way about being a fanboy, and how he actually doesn't know much, etc.

This is actually quite psychologically revealing of YOU, and not Scrotie. The fact that you refer to this as a "ball-sucking thread" speaks volumes about you, and it isn't flattering. Scrotie on the other hand (while I don't always agree with his borderline White Knight defense of this game some times) nearly always seems mature and intelligent when he posts.

stop lying to yourself... stop being a scrub.
Not every athlete makes it to the Olympics. Not even every successful athlete makes it to the Olympics. And you're basically accusing someone who runs for fun and personal challenge of being inadequate because they aren't aiming for the Olympics. Would you do that to someone in real life? Really?
You need to back off from the 'scrub' talk. You're missing Crackmonster's point entirely.
I see that you're precisely the sort of player who may never understand that 'winning' is a personal concept. You're not even arguing effectively with Crackmonster because you're both on different pages.
You, on the one hand, subscribe to the incredibly commonly held belief that 'use everything you can to win' is proper and that winning is winning. Which is fine.
Crackmonster, if I am reading correctly, is more aligned with what I believe, and that 'winning' can be whatever you want it to be. Want to go for the highest death count? Fine. SLowest class ever? Also fine. Perhaps where Crackmonster has erred is in dismissing others' ideas of winning just because they are conventional. It's slightly hypocritical but not surprising.
Play however you want. It's really that simple.
I think accusing someone of being a 'scrub' just because they do not compete at the same level as you *and have no intention of it* is really insulting.
