I agree with this and would enjoy it.

For people saying "Leagues that end usually end up feeding into Default, so ones with higher drop rates and the like are a no no" (paraphrased), just have the league and everything in it be deleted. Characters are unequipped of everything, all items deleted, and the characters alone are ported to the Default league.
Just thoughts.

+1 to this idea.
There would be something special about a character that you built 100% on your own, with absolutely no chance of help from outside sources. Even people who currently play self-found (which I have a lot of respect for) still have the option in a moment of weakness to make that one trade or what not. Pure solo league would be a fun alternative.
