Permanent Solo League?

A pretty nice idea, I would absolutley make a char or two there.

I love playing solo, would play in this league.

But I imagine this would be an option when GGG implements custom leagues in the future.

What? Do you genuinely think that the map drop rate is not fine as it is right now?

If you are running out of maps, you are either
1: Doing maps white.
2: Having some insane map loss streak.
3: Not rolling maps correctly.

This is just a small sampling of how I roll my maps. I've got 69/70s as well. A pretty good sized pool. I do however group, so we've got 5-6 player with near as many as I do. Soloing though is incredibly expensive and hard to maintain over a longer period of time, especially as you get into 74+ maps. In a solo league, there is no cause for concern over inflation, since it's essentially a single player game. As such, since we will be 100% solo, the map rate should allow a player to run maps without ever needing to go back to Docks as a level 85+ player. This of course is as long as they are making active attempts @ good maps, and not running whites.


Do please remember this league and what we currently experience cannot be compared as one in the same.

So how is this any different than just playing solo with chat off? Just increased drop rates of orbs?

So basically it's "carebear mode"

I also want a league where everybody has to name their characters with only vowels.

This is a league that I would be interested in. Self-found only and see who can get to 100 the fastest on their own.

I would definitely play in a solo league if it had the benefits described in the OP (no partying, no trading, more generous drop rates to allow more realistic crafting without trading, and a solo appropriate approach to map drops), along with some sort of global cut-throat (not dropping items on death - I wouldn't play in a long-term league with that, but all story/campaign areas could be public with pvp enabled) and permanence in the league through death (like default).
