Glad it helped out and is working. :) I understand that not everyone will have the same experience playing this kind of character. Many things may factor in how fast you level or how easy it is. A few really good lower level pieces can carry quite a bit, if you are struggling message me in game or on the forums and I will see what I can do to help out. Hi,
Little account of my advanced started last night. I arrived cruel at the time (level 34) without any worries. DPS quite large, zombies and totem play their roles very well. Only the management of mana between 28-33 was boring, but with mana leech, ca already running much better. Anyway at all good for the moment! Thank you again for the guide. Thanks for the post and glad it's all working out so far. I am trying to come up with a way that might help lower level EK mana problems, it is definitely a bit costly compared to other spells lower level. Faster projectiles is just such a nice support because it doesn't increase the cost a lot and adds damage + range to keep monsters off you. The other supports are nice too for damage but more costly. Lightning thorns. This thing sucks since the patch. It reflects and does hurt a lot if you don't have higher res. For me I just get as far away as I can and wait to attack at full ES hoping the blackguards or mages are on my summons. If this isn't going so well, try to get distance from the enemies and wait for the thorns to drop before attacking. You might have to avoid using skeleton totem / zombies on these guys because that will make the mages cast thorns on everyone. If you can run away, wait for it to fall then kill them before they put it up again or maybe out dps( kill them in 1-2 shots with no reflect ) the thorns. |

Do you need alot of mana regen at higher levels? My other Shadow was unplayable after level 60 when i was following some guys LS build which required tons of mana regen. Dont want it to happen again :P

" To be honest I hardly rely on mana regen at all. I prefer cannot regen over 50% regen in maps. As long as you use mana leech in your link your EK should max out your 20% mana leech a sec. A quality mana leech is really helpful with returning mana as well. It might start off a bit weaker, the mana return itself from leech but once leveled to 2-3% it's great. EK has a high base damage so it will hopefully return a lot of mana to you. Stack more spell damage to reassure the mana leech. Early levels can be rough as mentioned throughout the post, clarity helps with that and same with maybe just using faster projectiles and fork on the link or just faster proj. I don't have any passives put into anything to do with more mana or mana regen itself and I hardly find myself having mana issues. Sometimes I put on hatred aura then I only have about 1/5th of my mana(115) which is about 3 casts. As long as one knife hit's though, I get more then enough mana back to cast consecutively. 50% reduced sucks for maps but aside from that the leech is so effective. |

mana leech is taking care of any mana problems since 50s (3% leech) before that I had to drink pots more often.. with only abt 200 free mana after auras this build is doing great

If you are having problems with this build or any EK build....

I just move this around all my characters and it works great for helping with Mana while leveling for any class/build.
