I would recommend faster projectiles and added fire damage or faster cast. Mana leech is amazing once you are level 31 to use it. Wands are good with spell damage, cast speed and crit. You can dual wield wands or go with a shield for more defense or spell damage / spell crit. Increase spell damage, projectile damage and physical damage on items will buff EK. Increase phys damage on the weapon / wand itself will not buff it.
Whats your situation with mana after patch? Do you have enough mana after 2 auras?

I can safely and efficiently run two auras but I could not fit in a third aura. Even with 10% reserve it wasn't enough. I never tried picking up an extra 4 nodes though to help with this near the templar area. It could allow you to fit in a third aura but your mana pool could be quite low after that.

Hey there, this build looks pretty good. A bit less offensive but lots of utility passives. As for the third aura, I tried it with 10% reserve and it wasn't enough so this build might allow you to fit in the third aura. It is though 120 points used :O.. If you can't fit in the third aura with the aura passives you could go for more crit or spell buffing with the remaining passives.

It is a "physical" spell. The damage dealt is physical (as opposed to fire or chaos), so resists don't work- but armor does.

Mind Drinker works on "Physical attack damage" not "spell damage", so it does nothing for EK because it is not an "attack".

The keywords are "Projectile, Spell", so passives that impact either of those will impact EK.
